should Gjallarhorn be sold by Xür?
Honestly, no it shouldn't everyone is constantly grinding to get it. It can't just come that easy for people that grind hours and hours... Just makes me mad how noobs think that he's going to sell it. HE WILL NEVER SELL IT!

He has sold it. Week 2. Been grinding since day one to get it. I have three characters that run the nightfall each week and I raid each chance I get. If you are going to post about Xur and what he will and will not sell. Please at least know what he has sold in the past.

Getting it from Xūr is like getting it from the nightfall, which is exactly the same as getting it from the raid, because they all sum up to your weekly exotic rolls. Sure you can get it from strikes/crucible, hell you could get it out of a chest patrolling the cosmodrome. Regardless you have a guaranteed number of rolls you can participate in that you can hope to obtain an exotic from. Xūr is one of those exotic rolls. Simple as that. Weekly exotic rolls- Chest before Gorgons in vog Aetheon in vog The death singer in CE (formerly first chest) Crota in CE The nightfall strike Xūr Each as legitimate a way to obtain the gjallarhorn as any other because those are the ways that you can hope to obtain it. If you don't have it then you do each of the corresponding activities hoping to obtain it. When you do obtain it you are satisfied because you obtained it any other feelings in regards to the drop are redundant.

2 通の返信There's no such thing as grinding to get something when the loot system is completely random, I could play for 2 years straight and not be lucky enough to get a ghorn

1 返信well ive been playing very often ever since release day and dont have it, and not sure RNG will ever be on my side for the gjallarhorn so i would like him to sell it for that reason

They don't want to put in that effort, so best to avoid that situation altogether. Plus, all the unique lottery kids can continue to feel special. By the way, if you're telling me Xur shouldn't carry something because it would make the game too easy if everyone had it, I think that's a sign that something is overpowered. So don't act like it isn't.

I wanna say Yes because I spend most of my play time grinding away for one. It's literally the last weapon on my "I want" list. But the Icebreaker was the same situation and the joy for me and the anguished screams of my friend who always said he'd get it first and lord it over me were a great pleasure and I don't wanna lose that opportunity with the ghorn either.
