how old are you? people are always judging gamers...
24 years old with a steady job making about 45k/year as a part timer.
About a year and a half left of my mechanical engineering degree. I have a steady relationship with my GF going almost a year strong though we have been BfF,
But I am tired of people judging me because I game. Just because I game does not make me a loser or someone not going places.
Stop judging me for
My gaming habits. Also I am not fat, I am quite active working out and playing ball.
So why all the prejudice against gamers?
Edit: People think I am BSing about my salary. [b][i][u]sales and commission [/u][/i][/b] is the answer. I say I work part time because of how my company classified me. I work 36 hours a week! They classify FT as 40+. My last job 32+ was FT
Edit2: seems like there are a lot of veteran Gamers! Props to all who have a lot to juggle and make time game.

29 with 2 kids in a steady relationship with a good job!! I've had people say I'm 2 old 2 b playin games. Even got called a pedo before for playin online!! Laughable rely, especially when the majority a kids sayin this stuff ain't old enough to be playing half the games n e ways!!

50, retired from it. Gaming since intellivision pong. Atari, then nintendo, then ps1,2,3,&4. Some pc games (wow). Mostly solo fps. I'm a bit too conservative for strikes/raids. I get totally overwhelmed with so much happening at once and no idea of the map because I've not been there. Plus, my memory isn't as good as it used to be so I forget where stuff is. I usually pick off as much as I can from a distance with sniper then clean up with scout. Too close quarters for that in strikes/raid. I think it would be fun, but I've got alot of work to adjusting my strategies. Right now, just call me Leroy Jenkins.

4 通の返信I'm 42, the wife is 43 we are both level 31 and 30 on two different characters and we are bankers. We play with our 3 kids on 3 different playstations in our living room. They are all in high school so our house is considered the cool house due to the fact we all game and our living room is a game room. I love my family

My father is 77 and has played almost every Zelda game. I started out with TI-994A with a book on how to write code. My 1st game was called Wampus then we bought Miner 2049'er. I'm 38 I work seasonal, but when I do work it's awesome! I'm an arborist & landscaper. I have a ton of hours into Destiny. 32 Hunter & Warlock and still looking for 32 boots or helmet for my Titan... 2 boys 13 & 11 who play sports and are both 1st in their class each have 1 character over level 30 & would play every free moment if I let them. 3 generations of gamers, heck my dad still plays on his 3DS XL something called Brain games lol to keep his mind sharp. Oh and we are all physically fit. Think large barrel chest axeman type would best describe myself and my father. The boys both have six packs and remind me of my younger days....

23, GF for 6 years and 8 month old daughter. Work 40 hours per week 9-5 and we own our house and run 2 cars and a motorbike. Been gaming since my early teens starting with Halo on original xbox. Then got addicted to Diablo 2 on the PC and then its been on and off with console FPS games really. Slightly addicted to Destiny but only get to play 2 hours most evenings so things taking time!

14, and I say do what makes you happy because at the end of the day their opinion won't matter in this world. Video games appeal to all ages, considering there's titles like Nintendogs to Call of Duty. There's no certain age that people should stop playing them.

Sounds like you are doing well. I'm 34, married, 3 kids and have a full time job. I play video games every night, and in the day if I can get away with it. Bit of a difference to 7 or so years ago when I was drinking 4-8 pints a day, smoking, snorting cocaine and smoking about an eighth of weed a day. I think I was a loser back then. Oh, and I'm fat lol
