This gift that we waited for... LOLOL . Did anyone get something they want need or was looking for?
was some basic run-of-the-mill legendary pulse rifle? which quickly turned into my five hundred and fiftieth ascendant energy thank you very much guys. Way to be creative. I'm sorry ... I'm not one to look a gift horse in the dick, but that was a joke
If they created 10 new ghost skins, which I couldn't imagine taking much effort, and randomly gave those out to everybody instead, I think that would have been really neat.
Yes I'm aware that for newbies it's exciting . And I'm very happy for them and congratulations to everybody
I would have preferred a sparrow, new shader, new emblem, any type of upgradable material or currency, maybe some type of holiday or Christmas consumable of some sort. You get the picture?
I'm definitely not saying give us exotics, maybe an exotic shard
And yes I am very entitled. I don't cheese any part of any raids. I don't glitch, I don't cheat. I have over a thousand hours in this game. And I'm very active on the forums to boot . I am as entitled as anyone could be
(I really don't think I'm entitled, people keep saying they think that I think I am. But now people keep saying I'm not. Which one is it?)

1 返信You have 2 31s and a 32. Most people UR level will dismantle legendarys anyway. Just imagine everyone running around with the same shader or sparrow... It wouldn't be special.

Maybe even let us choose the abilities on the gun as well. But a random legendary gun, that 9 out of 10 players probably dismantled. Waste of time. Same issue with Nightfall rewards. Getting one legendary gun as a Nightfall reward is a waste of a reward. Just like this gift was a waste. It's like how people say, "well it's the thought that counts." Bullshit. If you think harder about what to give me, maybe you'll give me a worthwhile gift. Then the thought will have actually counted.

People have been speculating about its possibilities and many had very good ideas. Then when it finally launched and people were disappointed everyone is calling them entitled. No there not. No one is saying they deserve anything. They are simply saying it's disappointing.

4 通の返信I got a legendary auto rifle with really low range, high fire rate, low impact, and the worst recoil ever. Firing it caused me to aim straight up. 1 返信I'm fine with the gift I just don't understand why it took so long to send out. If they were just gonna give us legendary vanguard weapons already in the tower, just with random rolled stats, why did it take so long? I wouldn't think such a basic "stocking stuffer" would be so postponed. I think me, and many other people who played the game since release, would've preferred the gift to go live before Christmas, to reward the loyal players and make the new ones work as hard as we did for legendary gear.

1 返信Really though, this post has a point. Bungie did hype this up with the anticipation. What is there to be grateful for when we practically got nothing? It's like they took a crap straight into their hand and gave that to us. I'd prefer nothing over that. At least they'd still have my respect.

2 通の返信Bungie didn't overhype this, they said many times that it would be Legendary quality, and most likely get dismantled. They said it would be a small gift. The community, YOU entitled -blam!-s are the ones who hyped it up, believing you deserved a Gjallarhorn for Christmas for no reason other than you exist. Try not being selfish human trash for once in your life, and stop blaming Bungie for your own stupidity and inability to read. I got a Coiled Hiss 1919, which I already have, but this one has vastly different upgrades that make it a very different beast. Can't wait to try it out.

Not reading your rant but you are dumb to think you'd get anything more. How special can it be if everybody is going to gets it? The best gift would have been a new strike in the playlist or new exotics added to the RNG.

30 通の返信Wow you're a crybaby. I remember growing up, Christmas was always a hard time of year. Real life Christmas. One year my parents said they could buy me a game console for Christmas. I was super excited, they took me up to toys r us and let me try out the Sega Saturn, the PlayStation, and the newly released n64. Long story short I picked a system, shit fell through, and I got nothing like basically every other year. Shit happens, I bought myself an n64 working for the money the next summer (14 at the time). And I have never whined like this new generation does about videogames. Op reacts this bad to a gift in a game, how would he have acted if he'd had a shitty real life christmas? Probably cut himself and brush his hair over his eyes, wear some tight girl jeans and talk about how dark he is. This is a generation of entitled little shits, where everyone grew up spoiled, everyone grew up a winner. They don't know how to lose, don't know how to react when they don't get everything handed on a silver spoon. They just come to the internet and cry and moan, kick and scream like the children they will always be.
