Why do people expect exotics from the nightfall?
So this is my question with all the hate I see on the fourms about bad nightfall rewards, why do people expect to get an exotic or something they need from the nightfall??
Its a random drop! Be happy with what you get its more than some people have gotten

1 返信I got 3 exotics and only done it 5 times lol Suros regime Something of light. (Titan helmet) And the third eye helmet for the hunter.

Decayed_Personaにより編集済み: 1/7/2015 6:54:53 PMI like doing them for the bounty and XP boost, anything more is a bonus. I know most people do not share my same view and I guess that is one reason I enjoy this game as much as I do and don't cry about it being unfair to me.

I had to level up my character, upgrade weapons according to the element, and find two decent players. I expect at least radiant shards or energies, maybe even strand coins.

4 通の返信I did the nightfall three times yesterday and I got three exotics. An exotic helmet, Hard Light and No Land Beyond. The guys in my fireteam got jack shit!

1 返信Honestly? I'm always more happy to get a legendary with good perk rolls. Sadly that has only happened once and vendor perks don't cycle which I feel is a problem.

I do it for the xp bonus mainly, but for some reason I am always pissed when my mates continuously get icebreakers and ghorns in front of me and I just get materials or coins. The occasional legendary engram which turns into 2 energies is one of my favs. The only exotic drops I've gotten from nightfall are duplicates lol, barring Thunderlord.

When I do it I just expect more than the weekly. Well it used to be that way. I no longer have expectations for it but the rep bonus. A legendary engram that gives you two shards is a terrible reward for the nightfall. Less then 9 strange coins shouldn't even be in the Loot table for it in my opinion. But it is what it is.

5 通の返信In past nightfalls I've gotten the Suros Regime twice, the Monte Carlo, and most recently The Last Word. I think "expects" is too strong a word because I only "hope" to get exotics.

Shards/energy need to go. Coins are ok, but up them to equal hardest weekly amount. If you roll a legendary it should pop up a choice, coins or the weapon. Coins equal exotics, shards and energy are worthless at this point.

I never expect exotics, do Nightfall for the XP bonus, got coins, shards and a half decent legendary AR this week, any exotics are a welcomed bonus, have all the exotics I need for the moment anyway, and just need a few to complete the collection.

9 通の返信I got two exotic from this week's nightfall both of which I already have. Starfire protocol which I bought this weekend and another stupid exotic weapon I already had three of. You may say be thankful, eff that I want a decent hand Cannon, legendary not exotic. And the Starfire protocol xur sold had better stats
