Thorn is Broken.
This weapon is extremely overpowered in conparison to other primary weapons. At first I thought to myself "It's not OP I bet the person is just really good with it." Now that I have the weapon I know for sure thats it's extremely overpowered. Thorn can kill in two headshots and one body shot and that's not even factoring in its burn damage. Anyone denying this weapon is overpowered is simply pampered by the weapons power and have grown to rely on it far too much. The Thorn is the only weapon I struggle against (that is, until I equip my Thorn) but the solution to one weapon shouldn't be the same weapon. Of course many of you will bombard this thread with a volley of insults but that is to be expected. For those of you with reason, I'm pretty sure you agree and want nothing more but to see more balance in the Crucible. Please don't bring "Thorn isn't even that OP compared to Vex or Suros" here because the topic at hand here is the Thorn.

5 通の返信Ever sense the patch people just complain about the gun but they never did before the patch, the gun didn't get stronger or weaker it only got a mag increase and a slight reload increase so why is everyone complaining!

I use bad juju and I can still wipe players that use thorn in an fire fight. Your problem along with most players is that you go head first into a battle and don't use your other abilities to your advantage. Destiny is a tactical shoot not a call of duty game were you just point aim and shoot. Btw there's always going to be a gun that's better than the others. The only way to fix that is make every gun the same. So just shut up and figure out a way to deal with it

2 通の返信Honestly I rarely notice myself being killed by thorn. I think most of the time people have a problem changing their tactics to avoid a certain guns strengths.

1 返信Thorn is good the way it is. The gun was buffed not long ago making it a good exotic wepon plus the bounty is hard. Is one of those guns you actyally earn in the game. Why would complete the bounty for a regular gun?

But Hawkmoon is borderline better. Due to the random damage bullet. I feel like I get one shot with that weapon. And Last word in close range is a beast. Thorn is that middle ground of ass whooping. I need to play more strategic depending on your opponents weapon and play style.

I think it's worth it for all the crap you have to do to get the dang thing. All exotic handcannons can two shot if you use their perks. (Hawkmoon can one shot if both perks proc on a headshot.) Thorn is Fine.

4 通の返信Yeh it's a little op...I was dominating a rumble match the other day ( Mida multitool is awesome!!) and half way thru the guy coming second switches to the thorn a proceeds to kick my ass...so then all tactics were out the window and it became a game of close the gap and shot gun him in the face...but I never really like to see guns get a nerf, If people need stuff like that to be competitive so be it...same with fusions everyone knows there op....but who cares, any self respecting player with a hint of sportsmanship won't use such crutches....and anyone who does may just need the extra help
