So I'm a level 31 Hunter. Nothing too special I just got the new Vanguard gear and Young Ahamkara Spines (Those gauntlets look amazing!) Right now I'm leveling my upgraded exotics. So that means bounties and lots of em!
But I've encountered a problem. Nearly EVERY time I go to cash in for my sweet sweet XP guess what happens.
Some random group of guardians goes "HEY LOOK A LEVEL 31 I'M ABSOLUTELY SURE HE WANTS TO DO THE RAID OR HELP ME DO WHATEVER I TELL HIM TO IN A VERY RUDE TONE OF VOICE LETS SPAM HIM WITH INVITES UNTIL HE LEAVES AND CALL HIM NAMES IF HE DOESN'T JOIN UP!"
I don't. Please go away. I once got six different invites in the 30 seconds it took to walk to Xander 99-40
I honestly don't care all to much about grinding my butt off to gain one level. I can do everything in the game just fine. Plus the RNG hates me so I don't get armor anyways so I don't need radiant stuff.
It doesn't bug me all too much. I understand that's a good way to get a group together. I kinda feel bad ignoring them, but I just wanna do my own thing ya know? I'm just wondering if I'm the only one. Anyone else in my boat?
Edit 1: Wow. More responses than I expected. This is actually my best thread. Glad I aint the only one. Anyways a little about me I don't have any real drive to get to level 32 because I'm not a big fan of the CE raid gear and it's more work than I' care to do. Also I'm not against helping people who are struggling, I often do. But not people who are rude or spam.

I ignore all blank invites all the time, I don't feel bad about it either. If they aren't going to take the time to ASK if you want to do something then you don't need to take the time to help them. I've been asked to do things on several occasions. Those replies are often met with a polite decline and an explanation that I am busy with friends, but that doesn't mean I don't ever help.

2 通の返信My method: Random invite = no reply. Invite with message = reply/join. Party invite = join to see what's up. You send me a random a$$ invite without any context as to what the hell you want then you are too lazy and undeserving of my help. The only blank invites I accept are ones I receive from people doing the same missions as me.

Very similar scenario happens all the time for me. I just don't understand why they feel the need to curse and try to belittle another player who doesn't want to play with them or do the activity they are doing. Best part about this game is the options on how to play and when you want to do it.

1 返信Try being 32 or 30 before the dlc id be flying into the tower and getting invites
-
3 通の返信I don't mind helping people, but it gets annoying. Try being a 32, I change my armor before entering the tower, I held onto old armor just so I could be a lower level on the tower

I got that when I first turned 30 as there weren't that many about. Then as 30s became more commonplace it stopped happening. Not had it since getting to 31 because there are loads of 31s now. I could see it may still be an issue for 32s but even they're becoming a more regular sight now.

My problem is I've grinded my way to level 31 and I haven't run One Full Raid yet. I've played bits and pieces but never the whole thing. I do get invited to join in quite a bit but its usually a checkpoint. Again without going all the way through a Raid and no care to learn the intricacies of the Raid's themselves I just go in and shoot some sh!t and cash in on the loot. For once I'd like to run the Raid with a dedicated group that keeps my same schedule. That way communication and trust is there as you have solid team. Then I might actually learn the raids the way they are supposed to be and enjoy running them.

1 返信straya m8により編集済み: 1/7/2015 4:37:30 PMI'm 32 and have been for weeks, got G horn too and never had an invite, idk why you posted this acting like you're something special.. 32s are becoming more common let alone 31s.. It doesn't even mean you've completed any raids lol

Haha, too funny this happens a bit to me too. I have noticed that if I have my raid gear (even though they are not leveled & BTW I'm the guy that hopes for shards on drops lol) then I really get spammed, I guess it's a compliment but when I politely bow out of the invite then don't go all aggro. I think that better communication would help a lot too, example: I was invited to a fire team so I joined and before I knew it I was at Atheon checkpoint on hard, WTF??? I mean it got done and all but c'mon give someone a heads up.

I've never had this happen to me before. (Turned 32 yesterday). However when the Christmas noobs came, I realized that they would spam invite everyone at tower cause they were looking for others to play with. 31s are common.. especially the ones without any raid gear/experience...
