Done it plenty of times without cheese and there are too many people that can't do it correctly within 10 tries so why not cheese it if Bungie can't figure it out? Cheesing is an easier, more efficient use of your time, with the same possible results especially if you have done it legit before.
To the guy who asked the opposite, It is like saying "Why do you use a cell phone to tell someone something instead of writing a letter and sending it in the mail?" Answer: Because it takes longer to accomplish the same thing through the mail. Until they fix it, it makes no sense to do it legit unless you reallllly just like killing Crota legit for the 20th time.
Edit: My only legitimate reason to justify NOT cheesing him is if you have never done it legit before. Other than that, beating Crota 3 times a week legit just seems foolish, to me. To each guardian, his own.
Edit #2: There are some funny, really sad people in here. First off, I only made this thread because someone made a thread with the opposite title. Second, who cares how someone plays the game? I have done it legit and cheesed. Don't mind either. Stop acting high and mighty because you do it legit. Lol no one gives a damn, not even your mother.
Edit #3: Trolled you guys to trending. Solid.

Reasons to not Glitch Crota: 1. Practice for when they fix the glitch 2. Practice for the Hard Raid 3. To find out who you can count on in the Hard Raid Reasons to Glitch Crota: 1. If your team has done it legit it might be faster. 2. When you find yourself working with numerous people who cannot pull it off and they spend hours per night attempting to coordinate boomer control with bringing down the sword bearer you will learn very quickly who you can count on in the Hard Raid and for Legit Kills on Crota. 3. It is Monday night, reset is coming and you are in a hurry. 4. The loot system remains fundamentally flawed. Outcome: Do both Utilizing this Glitch is an exploit of an existing network issue. It does not require modification of software or hardware therefore it is not cheating. Is it wrong? What would that even mean in this context? Glitching Crota does not harm other people. If 6 individuals who all purchased a game choose as a group to play the game in a manner which exploits a network issue but has no negative consequences for other players how would this qualify as any form of moral dilemma? The reasons why I will not be glitching Crota 1. I have learned what I can about the battle via Glitching, any further glitching will not provide new insights or methods. 2. Far too many players are insufficiently coordinated team players to even successfully kill a perma kneeling Crota 3. It is only faster if, as a team, you have not developed a faster strategy. For me, not having a faster/better strategy is an obstacle to overcome not a motive for exploiting a network glitch. 4. I do not raid 'to get gear' I raid because I enjoy the game. Raid gear will only make the raid easier, that is it's only purpose, independent of the raid the gear is pointless. My old lvl 30 Gear works fine in the raid, the nightfall, the weekly, ROC, and Iron Banner. In General: If people Raid to get the gear and get level 32 that is awesome and great for them. If people want to exploit the game mechanic or network issues to get the gear (and these exploits do not effect me) then great more power to them. If people want to spend hours trying to overcome the raid with or without loot because they enjoy the game or enjoy the challenge, awesome. If people want the easiest, fastest way to attain artificial in-game achievement, awesome, great for them. This does not make any of these people scrubs or whatever else people insist on thinking. They are just people playing a game with different motives that is life. Choose your teammates wisely. However anyone who alters their hardware or software to give themselves an unfair advantage in PvP, especially Iron Banner well these people are clearly cheating. Different discussion.

9 通の返信Why study for a test? It's much easier and more efficient to just bring a cheat sheet. Why get a job and save your money to buy a car? It's much easier and more efficient to just steal one. Why go through the trouble of fixing a broken marriage? It's much easier and more efficient to just shoot the b!tch and find a hot young girlfriend. Why kill Crota legit? It's much easier and more efficient to just manipulate the net-code and cheat the system. Seeing the pattern?

1 返信Because with my raid group we can kill Crota in two sword runs. It takes us way less to to do it legit than to to cheese him. We do the whole raid from scratch in about 30 mins.

Because its easier to not cheese. Last night I played with a 32 who has never actually crossed the bridge... yet claims he knows what to do... I figure a 32 can kill at least one gatekeeper and not die. Guess I was wrong. That being said, if you are with bad players, you have to cheese because it's hard enough to carry one person let along multiple.
-
Because its challenging and fun to beat him without exploiting the game. Of course if i was playing with randoms who either weren't good or didn't work well together it may be the best option to cheese. I don't see why its a bad thing to exploit this issue but for my personal gaming experience I would much more enjoy playing without the exploit. Play how you want to play.

Cheesing is so wrong and I don't care who says it isn't!!!! I'm going to join all the millionaires in the world and we are going to go track down all the lottery winners and then spam them with harassment and tell them"YOU DIDNT GET RICH THE LEGIT WAY. YOU CHEESED LIFE. YOU DIDNT GET RICH THE INTENDED WAY. WE DID. YOU MAKE MY RICH LIFE FEEL UNSATISFACTORY BECAUSE YOU TOOK THE EASY WAY TO WEALTH AND NOT THE RIGHT WAY" Yes. That is how stupid people that dis approve of cheesing sound.
To the guy who asked the opposite, It is like saying "Why do you use a cell phone to tell someone something instead of writing a letter and sending it in mail?"
That's not a good analogy. More like "Why do you use money you got from working to buy something when you can just steal it."

4 通の返信If you can beat Crota legit every time within the 10 mins you have before enrage you're fücking shit. Cheesing isn't even quicker. People spend 20 mins trying to get it right when Crota can be dead in 2. Scrub

35 通の返信
Justify NOT cheesing Crota.
1. I have skill and do not need to cheat to beat him. 2. The people I play with have skill and do not need to cheat to beat him. 3. We run the Crota raid in 45 minutes or less.... therefore, the BS about it being "faster" to cheat, is just that, bullsh*t! 4. Only players with ZERO skill cheat to win 5. Cheaters are loser scrubs. 6. Only a loser scrub would come on the official game forum and try to justify cheating

4 通の返信I'm running at least 10x a week legit, no reason to cheese Crota. If it's not playing the raid what else is there to do?

VULFDREKにより編集済み: 1/6/2015 8:09:39 PMIdgaf whether people cheese crota or not. Let's look at the bigger picture that bungie -blam!-ed up again. First all the bugs in VOG and now all the bugs in CE. I know a game isn't perfect especially on release but get some better -blam!-ing testers already. Also saying your better than people for not cheering is the same as saying you will spend an hour to get an item where you can spend 10 mins for the same result. Not saying it takes an hour to beat crota but just referencing. Crota End in it's entirety is a joke. Way too easy even when doing it legit, cheesing is just shaving some time off. I am not judging anybody for which path they take and you shouldn't either. If you want to bicker with someone go to the source, bungie.
