I'm one of the players that gets all the weeklies done in the first day of the reset. 2-3 if I wait for my friends , then I'm left with nothing to do on the game due to its lack of content.
I think there should be 2 resets per week, one on Wednesday and one on Sunday (or whichever days)
For those players that can't get on and do everything for the reset both times per week you aren't really going to miss anything because there's another reset in a few days and you'll still have some days to do what you do have time for (if you have time for it)
I feel that due to lack of content in this game there needs to be a system in place that makes players actually WANT to keep playing, hence the 2 resets. Maybe even make xur appear more than once per week with different items every time!!!!
Also for players who don't own the dlc this will give them a chance to actually play the nightfall etc provided it's not dlc...
*Note*
Thank you everyone who likes my idea and to those who don't I know it's not for everyone and I'm not going to encourage your crude comments by arguing with you :)
*Note*
- I don't do dailies anymore.
- I don't play crucible.
- Bounties are repetitive and pointless.
- Marks are useless at level 31+
- No need to grind materials because by now you'll have enough to last you a long time.

1 返信Who's fault is it you don't play crucible? That's the thing that occupies all my tine once i've done stuff (granted i only get a few hours a week anyway but pvp kills time plus can get great rewards without having to play one of a few strikes that are sooooooo repetetive)

Even if you don't do dailies or grind for materials OR play crucible, you should have wayyyyy more to do. Dude I have 3 characters. I've played 4-6 hours or more nearly every day since launch and sometimes a week isn't even long enough to get everything I need to get done finished. I dunno how you're playing, but you should be needing a heck of a lot more time than you say you need if you're playing it properly. Happy New Year!

Mute Spittahにより編集済み: 1/6/2015 2:31:05 AMHow about this- No weekly lockouts at all! But wait- wouldn't exotics and raid gear become common, and wouldn't this widen the gulf between hardcores and casuals? No to the first question- We will get to the second in a minute. Nightfalls have pretty bad drop rates, as any player will tell you. They also are pretty easy. If the drop rates were left where they are, and the Nightfalls were changed so that they were repeatable, and burn modifiers applied only to enemy weapons, then you would have a hard activity that had a semi decent chance of giving you some good ger. This way you could farm an activity that was difficult enough to justify the reward. What about the Gap? There needs to be a gap between hardcores and casuals. If I spend 4 hours doing something and you spend one, then there should be a gap in the rewards to reflect the gap in effort, and in time spent. Casuals could still get the activities done at the pace they are doing it now, the hardcores would just be able to get good gear quicker.

Bungie would never do that because they want to milk the shit out of you. They put boundaries like these so by the time the next dlc rolls in you're back at square one. They have this shit down to a science and it's perfectly calculated so that you're just on a hamster wheel.

If the game has a lack of content with 1 weekly reset, imagine 2 weekly resets, everyone with 3 characters would have reached level 32 in the first 2 resets, the weekly reset is to make the game seem "longer to complete", I'm fine the way it is right now basically what i do is: Tuesday - Nightfall+Weekly heroic Wednesday - Raids Friday - Xur Sunday - Bounties+Strike+Glimmer Farm (to be ready for upgrades in case I get new stuff)

For players who can't do it twice a week cause of outside commitments they will loose out on weeklies and nightfall bonus. It would make doing them redundant. Why don't you try leaving the house every once in a while?
