Kicked by My Own Friends
After two long months on the Xbox One with a strict NAT, I finally got it fixed. I payed cash to get it fixed. During my two months with spotty connection, I'd tried to join my real life friends' fire team only to be kicked because I couldn't speak or hear them (which is completely understandable). Today, after getting my NAT fixed, I joined their party. They didn't know my connection was good again, and they said
"Wtf is Sam doing here? Somebody kick him! Who's the party leader?!"
I quickly said "No wait guys I got my router fixed. I can hear you!"
They responded by saying "We don't fuking care. Get your a$s out of our fire team!"
And then I was kicked. All this time, they'd been doing it because they didn't like me, not because of my connection- the connection I payed cash to get fixed! I feel so betrayed. How I will look them in the face when I go to school is beyond me.

Edit: Good to know that you guys are human. At least most of you are lol.

I know how you feel. My so called friend don't invite me unless they need me to finish the fight for them. Last week they invited to kill atheon 3 times. Then someone sent one for CE. So I know your pain. They don't want you till they need you.

Most people on here have good advice for you but remember, you are now more grown than those d bags because you are developing empathy and sympathy for your own social misfortune. That is something they will need time to get by understanding or having their own misfortune. It is a good thing. You should thank them and excommunicate them. You got a taste of how harsh this world can be. It will only make you a kinder person for it.

1 time I managed to join some old friends and fetch one of the tanks on mars and bring it back to the beginning (not such an easy thing to do in tacked) and got kicked by them. I can only assume it was to steal the tank i was going to let them use anyways. Needless to say i don't play with them anymore.

They arent your friends my man, dont let them use you for anything either. Don't worry, youll meet the shady scums of the earth as you grow, and with the right attitude and demeanor, youll show the toxic faces of this world that you are simply not as weak as they are. Happy new years.

Look at it in this light instead ... you paid cash to get your NAT issues fixed so that you can find new / awesome folks to play Destiny with. Don't let it get you down, you just saved yourself from having to deal with a bunch of douche bags. I'd hate to see how they treat each other in a raid.

What asshats. Not got much to add to that. Team up with strangers, get better gear and have fun. I hope I meet one of them in a PvP map, get lucky and actually land a unicorn knife on them. All of them at once. Magical unicorn knife. This is what happens when I don't know what to say but I'm mad that people acted like jerks. Hope you're enjoying the game without them. Suckers. Okay, I'll stop now.

Don't worry man they were just fake friends, at least now you know. I honestly don't play with any of my real life friends because most of them aren't gamers. Instead I play with my cousins and random people I come across. In my opinion I think it's way better.

They're not friends, you shouldn't ever have to "try" to be friends with someone, you either are or are not. Treat them as People you know but don't care either way for. Don't hate on them just leave them to themselves and move on to better people, don't rush it or you will get assholes like them again. Also if you have a max Gjallarhorn everyone will want you in there party ;)
