Who is Alpha Lupi?
Is Alpha Lupi a person?
Probably not because if so, they would have been a hunter and also a Titan, because of the fact that they both have the "Crest of Alpha Lupi" exotic chest armor.
Is Alpha Lupi a race?
In the Grimoire of a ghost fragment of a traveler, it says "Dreams of Alpha Lupi" and then it talks about the traveler helping us fight the darkness and other things...
So was Alpha Lupi somehow connected to the traveler, or was he/she some legendary guardian, up there with Kabr? Or is it a race of people we haven't seen.
Hell it could be the Guardian Hall of Fame,
I'm just curious what you think, and also why the gear exists for hunters and Titans, but not warlocks.

It's an allusion to the nine. The Alpha Lupi are nine stars visible from earth. Reading the Grimoire marked with Dreams of the Alpha Lupi and you will see they are cryptic descriptions of the Jovian planets done in an abstract psuedo-analytical way which would be much in line with a philosophical artificial intelligence that is slightly mad from the events that have separated them from their once sprawling and complete network. The nine are gibbering machine intelligences that went mad after going into hiding, and now rule the Jovians. Twisting and controling the people their towards whatever abstract goal they perceive, they whisper to each other in the dark and send their emissary to study the light.
