Bungie, answer this simple question if you can: since when was it a good idea to shaft every mid-level solo player in your customer base? Level 30 daily heroic stories with no alternate level option?
Now, before you trolls start chiming in listen up for a moment: I don't want 30's made easier nor do I want raids or weeklies to be designed to be completed solo, those are two epic aspects of Destiny that challenge us and have a comparable reward. However, to roll out level 30 daily heroic stories with no option to play a lower level version favors only one group of players... those who have already maxed their classes and armor and have a full load out of exotic and legendary firepower. There should be the option to play a daily that is appropriate to your level, albeit the rewards should be lessened as the difficulty is lowered (if you play it at lvl 30 you get 3 shards. Playing it at 26 should only get 1 shard).
Bungie offers multiple difficulty settings for the daily strikes, right? Right. So why not the daily story?

19 通の返信To the players claiming they "solo" and telling OP to get good... You do know we can see your stats, and many of you fail . Sure some do solo, but most claiming they do have a clear history of using teams for daily weekly nightfall and yet keep banging on about how easy it is to solo. and often they have awful KD in PVE. I suggest you solo a few weekly or nightfall before posting how great you are. ( and yes some posters do rock, they solo nightfall at level and with just good gear instead of perfect.)

3 通の返信They told you that this is not focused on solo gaming game years before it came out. Your fault that your anti social to post for randoms. In every group of 6 at least one is like you add them sooner then latter you have multiple raid groups and strike/daily players in your friends list.

2 通の返信Part of the problem is that not all Level 30 daily stories are alike. I can solo most of them, and elect to do so regularly. However, I do find that a handful -- e.g., the Black Garden and the the second and third new story missions from DLC being the most obvious examples -- are considerably more challenging to solo than the other stories, and I usually do those with friends. This isn't a criticism of your post. I agree that there needs to be some accommodation for the player who largely prefers to solo content. Frankly, I didn't even like the way they made soloing Nightfall more difficult for those who preferred to do so. But doing the earth missions solo at 30 (other than the second DLC mission) just isn't as taxing as, say, the Black Garden at 30 with its three Bosses.

1 返信Abyssal Shiftにより編集済み: 12/30/2014 11:32:59 PMVery rarely do I have people to do these events. So I tend to solo all the time. It just takes patience. Even at 29 it is doable. Also you should be geared well by the time you hit 30 or higher, but even then while exotics make it a little easier you don't need them. You just need some weapons with different elements and types to suit your needs.

1 返信I kinda do try soloing the weeklys first as it is a hell of a challenge, in my opinion worse than the nightfalls. If people join me cool, if not I'll finish them eventually. Check my stats i solo shit.

1 返信All the vendor gear is now level 31. Just keep grinding. The mission you're referring to was level 24 or 26 to start with, so 30 is the only viable option to make it harder than the original. And seriously, missing one daily mission because it's too hard for you're current level to run solo is not being "screwed over". It's life. Find a group or wait for the next day.

2 通の返信I don't have that much trouble with it. I had level 30 iron banner gear, so I got a helmet and a 2.0 chest piece once the dlc dropped. Reached level 30 in a week or so. They aren't that hard.

3 通の返信Solo is easy you just suck. If you suck find some friends either online or real life. Bungie is doing you a favor.

1 返信I have plenty of my own gripes, but this one seems bogus. You can get to 31 with vendor crap... grind marks a couple weeks then join the daily crowd.

3 通の返信You're right, there should be an option to do the dailys at lower levels. As a matter fact there usually is that option. Why it isn't there for defending Rasputin and a couple others is weird but it should be there. Defending Rasputin at lvl 30 is practically a strike.

1 返信I don't know if you noticed man, but EVERYONE is getting the shaft from Bungie. Shafting people is their favourite thing in the world! ^_^ it's what they get paid to do! :D it's their national pastime!! :DD

1 返信Dude how hard is it to find people to do nightfall with on the forums? U don't have to solo nightfall at all
-
1 返信Dailys shouldnt be level 30, snd they shouldnt be dlc maps either. That being said, what we think doesnt matter, Bungie wants to force the grind and shove the dlc in your face.

1 返信Not that hard to get to level 30 anymore...I work and have a wife and managed to get to lvl 31...just need to get better armor

1 返信I can see why it was changed for DLC dailies, after all the standard missions are a higher base level (lvl 24 for Fist of crota). That being said it is a bit dodgy to bump it up to lvl30, i sometimes like to play those with mates and due to the fact that my mates have yet to reach lvl30 means they can't AND turns what is tedious repeating of the same quest into a downright chore. Not sure if bungie really thought these changes through, the new missions are a great deal more difficult than vanilla. Theres even that urn mission that is a one off with great rewards if you do it on the higher difficulty but the mob spam at the end of it just knocked me around to much, eventually completed on lower diff. though but even so. What makes me wonder is if they are going to continue that trend with the next one. Artificially gating content to those who bought it and separating the players that have it and those that don't have dlc, are they going to have the starting quest for next dlc begin at 30?
