What is the best hand cannon. In you opinion.
Best hand cannon. I have the thorn bounty and just got hawk moon. Wondering wich I should lean towards first.

Even with it just being 300 attack it's still the go to for most It's hugely boosted by being a legendary and the only hand cannon atm with elemental damage , The perks are so good that explosive rounds is the worst one. And can hold 13 rounds ! Lol not even possible , EDIT: also found each one to have like a 'phase' first everyone felt about The Last word like how we all do now about Gjallahorn . Then hawkmoon numbers started rising, but fatebringer sorta snuck in , I got it a long time ago from my first hard raid , and only even met people who either really wanted it , or were using it

Fatebringer or Timurs Lash with a good perk roll. Mine had mulligan and explosive rounds. Those last two are 300 damage though so Idk about new legendary

Depends more on the perks than the Hand Cannon itself in regards to Legendaries. As far as Exotics go I only have TLW and Thorn, and they are way too different to really compare. TLW is unmatched in close-quarters hip-fire scenarios, and will be best utilized by "high-risk high-reward" players. Thorn has significantly more range and accuracy and combined with the poison-effect for keeping shields down, offers more tactical options. Much longer reload than TLW, almost requires Hunter with Chain of Woe or a reload speed boost from gauntlets. As far as Legendaries go, I like Timur's Lash for sheer damage, reforged it for Crowd Control and Flared Magwell, but Red Hand is great with the perks it dropped with. Reactive Reload (damage boost after reload after kill) and Outlaw (headshots increase reload speed) is [b]one of[/b] the best combinations for a Hand Cannon in my opinion. Especially as a Gunslinger Hunter.

Any good player understands why knowledge is key to winning any engagement; plus thorn negates shield recovery which in itself is OP in pvp. Only trolls would pick any other gun as "best" for pvp at least.

7 通の返信PvP- Post balancing patch. Thorn, Hawkmoon then Last Word. PvE- FateBringer. <-period! Use exotic slot for Gjallahorn or Ice Breaker.

Thorn is a very good hand cannon, but there are better hand cannons in certain situations. Anytime there is arc burn for a weekly or nighfall, Fatebringer will out-perform Thorn. It really depends on the situation.

i have had thorn for some time now and got hawkmoon 2 weeks ago i have been comparing them and I am try to deside witch it works better for me. So far these have been my thoughts Hawkmoon has Better target acquisition when ads due to cleaner sites. Hawkmoons targets are staggered way more. when using the rang perks on both thorn and hawkmoon I can fell the better range in Thorn Hawkmoon has a larger mag but takes more shots to drop a target due to Thorns DoT Hawkmoons slower rate of fire is not to noticeable In the end i really think its just going to come to personal preference I really like them both and they are both very solid guns.
