Ok so a lot of people think that we early teens/12s (I'm 13) are all screwed up. Let me clear things up.
First of all, just to get this out of the way (not that you believed it anyway), we don't have much drama of any kind. At my school, there is very little dating if any. Any dating that happens is very irrelevant and not a huge thing that matters. Sure, we all have our crushes, but there's not much going on.
Second, most of us don't cuss. Those few that do on Xbox Live are the ones whose parents aren't home. Trust me, if they cuss it's because their parents are gone and they think they can do whatever they want now.
Lastly, We hate being called squeakers. I know that I try not to talk around older people because for now I still have a kid voice. But, even if we don't show it, every time we are called a squeaker it (I can't really explain it well) just sorta hurts. I'm not sure why but it makes us feel puny and irrelevant to the older guys.
So I hope that this clears things up about us "Twelve year olds"
Leave any questions below.
Edit: Thanks for all the replies guys! A lot of you are supporting me and some are against me :/
Edit: ok let me re-clear things up about cussing. Yes, occasionally we will cuss. But, (this excludes all the fine African American gentlemen in the eight grade) it is usually just to quote a vine or I funny post. We rarely legitimately cuss someone out.
Edit: I just realized we made it to trending! Thanks guys!

I have problems with people who are loud and can't let others speak. Age doesn't have to do with it, but the younger you are the more likely you'll be inflicted with this disease. Those who have the Razer Echomaster 2015 please fix your mic. Skill level has nothing to do with age, I carry the sword for folks twice my age.

I just find it awkward talking to kid strangers. So much potential for so much to go wrong. Had parents come onto mic back when i use to play x360 complaining that i shouldnt swear, then id tell them that cod is made for 18year olds and id blam all day long. Basically kids should not be allowed to have mics.

3 通の返信I posted something in response to a similar topic the other day. In the end, it is not about your age, it is about the fact that I - personally - can no longer relate to someone of that age. Nothing against people of any age playing the game, in the end - but it is about finding people that I share interests in and can associate with on multiple levels, beyond that. Squeakers, in my opinion, are less about the tone of the voice, but the tone of the message; it is about an attitude that is generally offputting. All younger folks are not squeakers, and not all squeakers are younger folks. With as large an audience that the game has, there is room for everyone, and then some. You can formulate a more cohesive set of thoughts, and with better grammar, than a lot of people twice your age. That is to be commended, so bravo to you, young sir.
P.S. I am wearing a T-Shirt that is older than you, right now. That makes me want to have a drink.
I remember being 12, (im 33 now), I don't think I ever spoke a sentence without at least 3 cuss words. Just saying... My issue with younger gamers is not the age, or the voice, or the skill level. It's the constant mind numbing, commands and chatter, all in a yelling voice. (Not saying it's you, but) we all play the game. We have all done all the strikes and story missions, nobody needs anybody telling the fireteam how to kill the archon priest. Keep fighting the good fight guardian.

2 通の返信Played with many younger people. Hell, one time they were 10x better at playing the game compared to the older people.

2 通の返信I'm actually looking for another 13 or 14 year old gamer to play with me. I am 13 and considered mature by many adults. I play Destiny quite often but play alone. If there are any other teenage gamers out there on the Xbox One, please let me know, I'd love to play with someone my age that I can talk to.

Gotta agree with jmferris. You can't relate to them at all. There is one person on my PSN list, who I somewhat hate playing with. He needs help a lot, his voice is like listening to a chorus of mice using the kind of language you would find in CoD. He often drags in friends who are his age. Playing with some of these people is like playing solo. They often play like absolute shit, and don't listen when you tell them how it's done. You end up alone, beating the nightfall doing the work of 3 people yourself. It isn't even good company sometimes. I turn my friend list to invite only if he is on as he often joins me and drags people along.

4 通の返信I wouldn't expect a thirteen year old to understand why his voice is grating on our eardrums, but rest assured that you will be muted instantaneously.

1 返信I actually have no issues teaming up with younger gamers so long as they're not obnoxious and/or rude. Wait until you're a bit later in your years in high school to talk about drama. Then when you're done with high school you can look back on how petty and shallow people were. You'll then realize that adult life is much the same. T_T
Also, every guy had a little kid voice at some point. Don't let those petty insults get to you.
Been in game with two 12-13 year olds not sure exact age just somewhere along there. I can say it's not the squeaking that made me dislike, but their attitude. One of them went out of his way to help, which I respected. The other one just messed around and acted like he was transcendent that I didn't like. There you have it.
