If the Sunsinger melee ability is the only part of the class you find too powerful, then I'd argue that it's just fine. The only ability they have is to reduce incoming damage. That's it. Their entire skillset is based on the concept of defense. And I believe if you get too close to a raging Sun-bro, you deserve to be reduced to a smoldering pile of ash. In terms of overall intimidation factor, I'm much more cautious of a Titan or Hunter than I am of a Warlock. The other classes have a number of enhanced abilities that make them super deadly under normal circumstances, but a Sunsinger is really only a threat when under the effect of Radiance.

4 通の返信The sunsinger is not op, it is easily the hardest sub-class to become good with good with and any warlock would agree. Another thing, are you telling me you don't want a sunsinger to save your ass every raid and nightfall?
-
Honestly I don't see how it's op... When it's inly effective when you die unless it on radiant skin.... Which decreases incoming damage. But tell me how a sunsinger is op compare to a titan or Hunter lol? A hunter with blade dancer can go invisible and clear out a room in seconds. Good luck doing that as a sunsinger when you are on fire and everyone can see you lol. Or a Titan with the shoulder charge or the ground smash that also wipes out rooms.... It's an ULTIMATE aka a super..... It's supposed to be good. And I agree with the others that say if anything it should be buffed. I've used self Rez in pvp and before I could even start firing I was dropped by 2 players lol. Waste of a super to me . Also in nightfall with the Wizards they will kill you before you even get a chance to take 2 steps. Tell me how that's op? I'd love to hear lol

1 返信It's already weaksauce in pvp. I only break it out in pve. Blink is way more effective than a lot of grenades

6 通の返信If the Titan can shoulder charge for one hit, then why can't a warlock use his/her charged melee for a kill? Even gunslinger's knife crushes in one hit (throwing). Sunsingers aren't hard to take down unless you're standing over them when they revive. Skilled players kill with guns & save supers for groups. Non skilled players use them at random. I never use revive in PvP. I want the shield buff. Though I normally play void walker for the bolts that seek targets. Just know your classes. Titan charging, fusion rifle him. Hunter knife, just keep your distance. Warlock melee, don't tea bag when you kill them. Classes don't need nerfed, you need to buff your strategy.

I don't think it needs a nerf, I inderstand that it seems op, but it's one of the things that make warlocks special. Also, bear in mind that Bungie doesn't understand the term "balancing". If something in the game is great, people complain about it like hell, and then Bungie will nerf the balls off of it, and it will be worthless. It happened with the Mythoclast, and now it's basically worthless, even after the rebuff. Bearing that in mind, please think hard before calling for a nerf, it's ruined certain aspect of the game.

Noo you literally have no idea what you are talking about. Gunslinger one shot a warlock bladedancer usually beats a warlock fist of havoc warlocks a pancake. Sunsinger is probably the only super looking for a buff. Even sunsingers twin Nova bomb slaps him around. And if your talking super vs no super well then that's hilarious you got some figuring to do.

2 通の返信I think its messed up that they get to get an overshield from any melee... if youre up close because they charge you, it is truly infair as even if you try to shotgun them, they have a ranged melee that makes them harder to kill. I could understand if it was a small shield like blessing of light without illuminated but, its a legit overshield and allows them to basically tank everything. I also thing that theyre kinda underpowered at the same time though. Theyre warlocks "masters of magic" so it understandable to an extent. Now I think warlocks could definatly use some reworking as it is terrible that it can absolutely -blam!- everybody, but a nerf may be too much. One thing I think needs to be adressed is how much health hunters have while bladedancing, most the time. Just yesterday my friend and I shot a total of 4 rockets at a bladedancer and they did not die, but not long ago I out meleed one with the assistance of armour of light. It may have just been conncection issues which should also get fixed yesterday but, this is not the first time when a hunter just wont die. So again, warlocks a little less op, but hunters and connection are the real problems here.

2 通の返信Um Titan shoulder charge is one shot kill not even part of a super, and also Titan striker one shot kill hunter golden gun I shot kill and so is their bladedancer. Supers are meant to give you an edge while using it, and self-resurrect is really helpful for PvE remember it both PvP and PvE and if you don't like it go play advance warfare with Exo suits and stuff

2 通の返信TheArtistにより編集済み: 12/28/2014 9:33:28 PMMy opinion. Stay out of close-quarters fight with WARLOCKS in general...and Sunsingers in particular. Doubly so, since Claws of Ahamkara now give Warlocks TWO charged melee attacks. Warllocks arent' OP. You just need to be smarter in how you go about fighting them. 1. Stay out of close-quarters fights with them. Once it stops being a gunfight....your going to be at a disadvantage unless you're deploying your super. Or they're already injured. 2. Never turn your back on a dead Sunsinger. Until you see its ghost disappear. 3. Never try to take on a Radiant Sunsinger by yourself unless your deploying your own Super. You will lose. Especially if you're up against an experienced player who knows how to get the most out of that super.

heres an idea lets stop making them nerf stuff that doesnt need to be nerf its people like you that ruin the game because you cant kill the warlock wen they punch you so you want them to nerf the warlocks while the warlocks have almost nothing to defend them selfs while the titan has a ohk punch and the hunters have the blade dancer the only good thing the warlocks have are the fusion grenade and the flame shield and no one seems to care about their shield for the raid or a strike
-
7 通の返信You're a straight up idiot. You haven't even unlocked half the skills on your warlock, get the -blam!- out of here Titan scum. How bout we Nerf your bubble so you can't do extra weapon damage or a shield? or we remove your OHK shoulder charge?

They don't need a nerf. Most of the people who self res in PvP get one kill at best and then they get hosed down. Scorch melee can one hit but big deal it has a slow recharge rate. That class is PvE all the way.
