Okay, it's painfully obvious that NLB needs a buff of some sort, but that would be difficult given that any significant buff in impact would make it OP in PvP. Here's what I suggest instead.
1. Reserve ammo capacity should be doubled.
Honestly, we should have at least 30 rounds with a primary weapon, no matter how powerful it is.
2. Do away with the magazine.
I already feel like I'm reloading after every shot with the bolt action animation. Why make us reload twice? This would make it viable in PvE by reducing its [i]time to kill[/i], without removing the bolt action which balances it for PvP.
3. If the magazine is scrapped, the speed reload perk should be replaced by the "aiming this weapon increases it's effective range" (I forgot the name of it).
This perk should also grant double the usual bonus range because of its exotic status. This would be in the optional perk column, so it would be balanced. I just know a lot of folks have been complaining about the poor range due to the iron sights, which have a reduced range multiplier.

6 通の返信Seen NLB get alot of hate on forums. Exotic weapons are exotic because they are special. This doesn't always mean that they will be god mode guns that score you millions of easy kills. This gun might seem like a shoddy weapon to some people but it is unique. To use it people need to rethink their playstyles and base it around the weapon, not demand that the weapon be changed to conform with their playstyle.

Id like to see some or all of these: -reserve ammo regenerate (still have to reload and it makes sense to have low reserve) -rail gun perk default. An enhanced version of overpentrating perks. -missing a shot increases bolt action speed

1 返信You either have to make the gun super powerful (like a one shot kill no matter what if you're the same level, PVE) or kill the bolt animation to make it possible to land 2 shots before someone can run from halfway across the map to melee you. Also, as you stated, the amount of reserve ammo is ludicrous and makes it absolutely worthless. Also, I'd like to see penetrating rounds. Something like if there's a group of thralls I can have the ability to kill a couple with one shot. In a game where mob enemies are a thing, this is just useless.

1 返信I'd just be a fine of turn the bolt action animation between shots into a quick .5 second or 1 second animation. It's part of the aesthetic and just tuning down the time wouldn't break the gun. I also feel its impact could be a bit more, but otherwise I'm just waiting to see what the fellas at the studio say about its impending buff

first of all, all bullets from this weapon MUST be armor piercing by default, would significantly help the dps of the weapon in pve (just look at thorn as an example). Secondly, i'd be nice if enemies killed with precision damage did something 'special'. They could explode but we already have enough weapons that do it, what we don't is a slowing field like the ones that Wizards spam. What if with every precision kill it left a slowing/poison gas for 3sec? Would be unique and useful. The only other thing that must change is the increase of the bolting speed, as is its unacceptable.

[b]Exotic[/b] Then its special doesn't seem all that super its a damn exotic Make it instead if you hit a critical you gain the bonus making those who are accurate with this weapon able to chain it, not to mention will make it more reliable pve

It's fine how it is, only thing I would love and it needs personally Is a perk changed, I.e swap out lightweight for custom optics like P&T so the zooms lower, for an iron sight it personally zooms too much.

2 通の返信In my opinion, the gun needs to have a faster bolt action, more rounds in reserve (at least 25-30) and more rounds per mag. The lag in between shots is too ridiculous to be even usable in a fun sense. I bought it from Xur to have it, as I am trying to collect them all, but this gun is a complete chore to use due to awful time in between shots. I also have an issue with once you fire the last round in the mag, you still bolt the gun, then reload it giving something like five or six seconds between the last shot of the magazine and the first shot of the new magazine. This is unforgivable, and needlessly difficult to work with. Also, if you pop off a round then switch to your secondary to finish off the target right away (before you finish bolting the next round), when you switch back to the NLB, there is lag before you can even fire the gun again, making this gun absolutely useless against even trash mobs. It does hit very, very hard, but it is just too punishing to use, especially for an exotic primary, and especially in a class that includes Suros Regime and Vex Mythoclast. In all, this gun has officially supplanted the Universal Remote as the worst exotic in the game in my opinion. At least the Universal Remote has crucible uses...

1 返信In my days as a GM in Ultima Online we had a nifty feature called ".delete" .delete could delete anything in the game with the exception of the landscape. We could even .delete characters. That was our form of the banhammer.

Reserve ammo is glitched so they will be fixing that. You can hold a good amount in reserve but its bugged.. I have no problems with it really besides the ammo problem. I can see some perks being subbed but i cant think of any off the top of my head. A perk to lessen weapon sway while ADS or just lessen the sway all together w/o a perk. I'm fine with the bolt action time, if reduced then kudos. I don't think the damage is EXOTIC worthy but still holding its own ( wouldn't mind a small bump there). Don't change the sights! I've seen request for full auto?? Its a BOLT ACTION.. Smh. Give it an element I don't care which. I assumed Piercing shots would be a perk

The opinion of NLB being terrible has been echoed by no less than Hutch (whose opinion re snipers I trust). That being said, maybe the gun doesn't need a buff. The real use of the gun is so that you can have a sniper with a shotty/fusion. Vex and is not really a fusion in the OHK sense, and universal remote is also a piece of shit. So now all the shit players that run around with shotties/fusions all the time, whose primary slots were otherwise useless, can load a sniper as well.

the animation when you have to reload in between bullet fire should get a increased speed. i mean in real life even i could put a bullet back in the chamber faster then my guardian who is suposed to be a trained soldier not to mention under fire when you are most likely using the weapon. it is like my guardian fires a bullet then goes and gets some tea and then puts a new bullet in the chamber. it just takes to long. i also dont really get why my guardian has to stop scoping when doing that.
