Lego Bionicle fans.
Any fans of the old bionicle toy line that that ran for 10yrs strong out there?
Edit: damn I never thought there would be this many on here that shared this part of my child hood. You guys are awesome!

I stopped being interested after they ended with Mata Nui. Also, fun fact, if you read the comics with old style red/blue 3D glasses they become holographic. Don't ask me how it works because as far as I understand it is some sort of sorcery.

4 通の返信I had most of them from 2003 to 2008. The green ones where my favorite. The new reboot Bionicles are shit. The concept is nice, but not the execution. The large flat looking printed armor pieces from Hero Factory ruin the "Bionicle" look.

8 通の返信Another thing I like about bionicle was how heavily it was based off of H.P. Lovecraft's kind of writing. Dark, scary, filled with formless monster bent on chaos and destruction, god like beings et cetera et cetera.

2 通の返信I loved boinicles. I got my first set when I was one at the Mall of America. Of course I couldn't appreciate them but I learned to love them. I always liked the guy with the big axe weapon. He was evil and I don't recall his name but I loved it. Seriously, I played with these more than I played with Lego bricks. I remember playing the old Ps2 game. That was when I played NFS Underground. Good times. Anyone feel a strong surge of nostalgia?
