I play a lot of Destiny. Or, what I think is 'a lot.'
I have a full time 40 hour a week (at least) job, and a family. I don't have time for joining a clan and playing a Raid.
I get on enough to do other things. Partially play the Raid here and there with no real teammates... But I do play the Nightfall and Weekly if I can get around to it.
My question, how can people like us actually play the Raid without matchmaking? My schedule is strict, and I can't just get on to play any time of the day to get 5 other people to join me.
It just sucks. I mean, I can't get on every Sunday, or every Wednesday. My brother is the same way. We can barely get on the same time to do the weekly once a week. There's no way we can come up with a team.
tldr: I am busy. No particular times I can get on and even gather a team for a Raid. What. About. Me?! Lol.
Edit: Alright. Look. LFG looks like a good site. But WHY can't we have something similar IN game. Not necessarily matchmaking. But what about a Tower room or something, anything.
Having to find a website and a group to follow MY schedule, is ridiculous.

2 通の返信You can't sit there and say you don't have time to raid. Go on Destinylfg and make a post or message somebody, gurantee you can find a group within 5-10 minutes. And if you don't have that time to spare, maybe you shouldn't be playing video games to begin with.

Look guys. Even if it's NOT matchmaking particularly... I just want something in game to help find raids. This whole 'destinylfg' or whatever, might help me some. I'll give it a shot, I guess. But it's a pain to have to do that.

1 返信Destinylfg.net is where most of us go. It literally takes 15 minutes max to find a group. However, we shouldn't have to use outside sources to raid. They need to implement an in game lfg system at the tower, for ALL users, you can inspect the date, name, raid clears, weapons, and such to help you

iDANglinにより編集済み: 12/26/2014 4:25:43 AMThis game caters to the casuals. Players who play a ton to cap have to play that much more to re-cap every time the caps are increased while casual players get higher level gear with less effort. Just read in another thread about players who were Lvl 31 and never played VoG. I'd say they hit 31 a tad bit more efficiently than a player such as myself who played a crap ton to get one of each class to Lvl 30 pre-dlc. Luckily the dlc opened my eyes and now I feel no rush to try to cap my characters since the cap will just be lifted again and again with easier ways added to get close to the next new level cap. My point here is to not sweat it, Bungie's system for Destiny caters to casuals. You will be able to complete everything in Destiny if you are patient. I personally dislike that aspect. I'm one of those guys who prefers to go for things that take a long time to earn and don't become easy as hell to earn later. That's why I grinded out Inheritor in Reach quickly and expected similar grinds in Destiny to exist to make the truly dedicated feel rewarded (even though it's only pixels. /End rant

Destinylfg.com Recruitment Forum Get to level 31 with vanguard gear and find a group. It will get easier as weeks go by as you'll make friends raiding. Also do the weeklies with randoms, you may find people there that, if they liked you, may be looking to fill a spot in their raid that week.

Make a post in one of the recruitment forums. I am able to find a group within minutes no matter what restrictions or requests I throw in. Just be sure to say exactly what you are looking for and you will have no problems

1 返信Sorry to hear it, but sometimes you just can't have it all. I've never done the raid myself because of the birth of my son not long after release. But I do get to play between his naps and maybe someday he will sleep long enough for me to try a raid.

Even just posting on the forum (let alone the LFG websites) will get you in a raid group within a few minutes anytime you'd like. It's weird that you are having such a had time getting into a raid team. Are you even trying?

I joined the group on the website that is for my console. I can read and post messages to that group on the app. That's how I look for and get fireteams for nightfall/weekly and raids. Yes, its kind of hit or miss, but not terrible for the most part.

Post in Recruitment. Leave your PSN/GT, class and lvl, and when you are going to be getting on and how long you expect to play. Post at least an hour before you know you will be on. This works pretty well.

For all the people blasting the OP telling him to use the forums or lfg for a group. Isn't what you're suggesting nothing more then a third party matchmaking system? You're more then likely in a group with a bunch of people you've never played with, you're all more then likely above a certain light level, and you really have no idea if the other people will use their mic or are any good at the game. Fairly sure that's exactly what an in game raid finder would give you too. Just saying people, think critically about what we are all looking for and what we are all actually getting when using these so called "tools." Stay classy guardians
