I really like iron banner but the random items is really broken I have carried the team on countless of times with scores over 6000 but does it give you the best stuff? nope! It gives it out to the players that did almost nothing while the top players don't even get anything, turned the game off because I pulled of a 9500 score game then a player that did nothing got the no land beyond wtf is that about? And the same thing happen the other day and someone that did nothing got Red Death this is iron banner to prove the best of the best but no you get junk while your the best, might as well just put my controller down and watch a movie cause that will probably give me a better chance of getting good stuff.
Edit 1: after reading all the post and thinking about it, it would be unfair to just hand out the rare stuff to a leader rather then just doing that I think this would be better .( as posted by another member)
1: a % to get better loot for the top players
1st 10%
2nd 8%
3rd 6%
4th 4%
5th 2%
6th 1%
2: higher ib rep or crucible rep. For top players.

1 返信I think crucible rewards suck for all players, especially when you compare it to other activities.

How about more glimmer for the top 3? I'm finding myself glimmer farming in PVE more often with the new upgrade system for exotics and Iron Banner gear costs quite a bit. I also like the idea of increased IB/crucible rep. I feel the current system is best for this particular game. I'm actually happy for someone that gets an awesome reward, whether first or last place for I find myself in those positions and anywhere in between. But yeah, it does suck if/when I'm in first and I get nothing, nothing at all...

If it was performance based, weaker players would not go near the crucible. It's a game design strategy to encourage everyone to play. Bungee forces players to play pvp so it only makes sense to provide an incentive. It's fine the way it is IMO. Side note: both exotics I got in the crucible were when I came in first and lost the match (Suros 1.0 and Truth 2.0)

6 通の返信Not another one of these posts, it's not about your score, the loot system isn't designed that way, it's meant to be random to give all skill levels equal opportunity. I'm not that great at crucible but I've played a bit, I've never seen an exotic even drop. If you're gonna get pissed off because someone else gets a good drop then don't play, it's simple. It's working the way it's intended to work, just be happy that you're good man, I'd love to be getting scores like you. Just think... If only the best got drops, why would bad players even try to get better?

Voidにより編集済み: 12/23/2014 11:56:21 PMI have 900+ crucible matches, most of them being in the top 3, and I have been rewarded a grand total of 1 exotic. Which by the way was rewarded to me when I joined a game right at the end. I have seen plenty of exotics drop but surely enough almost all of them were awarded to players that were either in last place or in the bottom 3. Coincidence right? I don't propose that the bottom tier players shouldn't be rewarded at all but I think the top 2 or the top 3 players should have a significantly higher chance of rewards. That way players who aren't good at PvP still get rewards but it provides more incentive to do well for the team as the better performing players just have a higher chance at the same rewards.

3 通の返信Somehow I actually got Thunderlord from being in first place in the iron banner, something I've never seen before.

4 通の返信I share your frustration, as do most of the community. However it's the 'fairest' system. Your suggestion would just spawn horrible game habits and styles (sitting in corners with shotguns etc), and the overall PvP experience suffer.

the randomness is the best part of the game - keeps it "fair", fun, interesting, and highly entertaining... i also believe there are some underlying measures involved what you eventually get dropped... for instance, i have 0 fusion rifle kills in crucible, i don't use them, but i got 5 or 6 legendary ones sitting in my vault waiting for my 7 year old son to get there with his titan... i also got a random gheleons demise dropped in IB fully decked out with luck in the chamber, armour piercing, explosive rounds, custom optics, and firefly - in the bottom of my being i believe this was a gift from destiny gods for my devotion to playing til my eyes bug out.

1 返信Zen Apeにより編集済み: 12/23/2014 7:12:01 PMThis game is driven by RNGesus. So every chest opening, every strike, every crucible match is in essence pulling the handle of a slot machine. And I'm ok with that. But I do feel you, the better players, and the players that put more of themselves into winning a match should be rewarded. If you get the most kills, or get the most zones captured, or unlock medals during a game, what it should do is slightly boost your reputation gain, perhaps even your crucible points gain. Mind you nothing should be taken away from the poor sap who is getting used as the cabin boy during the whole match, but there should be bonuses given to those that go above and beyond as would be the case. I mean when you get back to the tower and the head crucible guy see's that you've been jumping on grenades to save teammates when you haven't been face rolling, he should give you a high five and buy you a drink right? And this boost in rep lets you rank up faster, thus increasing your rate of getting rewards. I should really get hired by Bungie for this common sense gold here. As for random rewards, I don't want to see that change as that only reinforces a rich get richer style of game play that I particularly hate. I mean really, the guy who burns through the other team with his Vex Mytho should then get a Suros as a reward? That's just flat out disgusting and does nothing to help that individual who needs better gear to help improve his game.

4 通の返信They really should of made the rewards performance based. First second and third on both teams get rewarded, but the team that won gets the better end. The people were went negative get nothing. Thats how it works in reality with sports, why would it not work here? The horrible players would either get better by tactically figuring out how to get better, or they'd just go play PVE where they just mooch off the RNG system there. The crucible is a competition minded area of the game, so it should work and perform like a competition. Im from sports where the top three get money rewards, medals and sponsor contracts. Nobody else gets shit unless the tournament directors have money to give out and sometimes they give it out to the top ten but thats it!

3 通の返信In crucible i disagree. Rng is okay... Iron banner though, i agree. How you do should directly correlate to rewards
-
1 返信If the post game rewards were in any way related to performance you might have a point. As they are not, this is a whine.

Lol the hate is strong in this thread. I agree op. I should be showered with gear and weapons ships amd shaderd by now. Check my stats and all that if you want. It is kind of....disappointing to continually be the top player in Crucible no matter if i lose the game or win, and get passed by because rng is just silly for "competitive multiplayer"
-
First iron banner, I had more kills than my entire team combined. They all got exotics/legendary engrams. I got A strange coin. Next game I fed the enemy team, 2 kills (trying to grenade myself, accidentally killed two people) and 27 deaths. I got red death
-
Maybe you're looking at it the wrong way. Don't consider the random rolls at the end of a match as rewards for performance (because they are clearly not). It's a bonus for staying the whole match. It's a team game. If you don't want to "carry" people, then go play rumble. But as a winning team you get more rep and more coins, and in iron banner a winning team gets a chance at ib rolls. That's the benefit. It sounds like you want the reward system at the end to benefit players who do well. That's fine and dandy and I somewhat agree that players who do perform better get a higher roll chance on nicer gear. But that's not what the system is.

1 返信RNG is the issue. It's not that bad players are rewarded, it's just good players may not be. I went 6.0 KD and over 30+ kills 1 match and got ice breaker but have since seen many 0.25KD people get exotics in crucible. I have not gotten anything else out of crucible. The reward system offer 0 incentive to play well hence everyone is running around like an idiot with shotgun. If rewards are give to top players, you invite more selfish play, more camping, more using the most OP weapons to win. There is a flip side to everything. You want more rewards for doing well, just don't regret it when you become suddenly no longer the top player every match. My KD is around a 1.5 and I casually run around while talking to my friends. I almost don't want to find out how I'd do If I take it seriously and have a dedicated team. Not saying it's a bad idea, just that it could have some unwanted side-effects. In any case, I think Bungie could skew the statistics a little bit with top players earning 10% more chance to get stuff etc.
