I'm sorry Pulse Rifles...
...I was wrong. I didn't let you prove how amazing you truly are; how you strip your enemies apart even at the longest of ranges, how you stay calm and on target through your majestic bursts, or how you can out-snipe the best precision rifles with ease.
But now I've seen the light, you truly are a unique little snowflake.
In all seriousness, I've finally found a Pulse Rifle that I feel comfortable with and it is so awesome! I got a pretty damn good roll on it, so I can use it in almost all situations.
Has anyone else found the true power of the pulse?
Edit: My Pulse Rifle is Three Little Words with Red Dot-ORES, Rangefinder, Fitted Stock and Reactive Reload. It's an absolute beast.

The Red Death is awesome!!! I used the Bad Seed Down for awhile too. I also didn't give them a chance, I was an auto rifle guy & still prefer auto rifles, but wow, the pulse rifles are great. Red Death is a headshot almost everytime

2 通の返信All I own is a maxed out Bad JuJu. I like it a lot for lower level enemies, or herds like Thrall, dregs, arcolytes, etc. No reloading and mows'em down.

I never thought anything about pulse rifles till I got Red Death, the two of us have been on many an adventure together. I was instructed by the Vanguard to destroy on sight... but they don't need to know lol.

4 通の返信I have Three Little Words and Time on Target. Both are arguably the best PRs in the DLC... and they still suck lol. PRs are just not good. Other than Red Death, there is no PR that I would use over a ton of other weapons. Their damage and ammo capacity is just underwhelming.

1 返信My theory is that pulse rifles have a bad rep because the low-impact ones really [i]are[/i] bad, and that keeps people from trying out a high-impact, high-stability gun like yours.

3 通の返信I had a brief love affair with pulse rifles when Future War Cult gave me The Conduit for ranking up (my first legendary primary). I used that gun in PvE and PvP until I used it in BoG one day and realized I needed something harder hitting, so I moved to scout rifles, and now I'm on to hand cannons mostly. That said, I always adored Bad Juju, for style and a great perk, and the gun was made infinitely better through the buff patch. Anyway, I think The Dark Below is trying to tell me something because in the first three days after release, I got Coiled Hiss, and Time On Target, both pretty nice pulse rifles with good perks, both from engrams. And then just the other day I got Three Little Words from an engram, with awesome perks. I think Destiny wants me to use Pulse rifles again, so I guess I should start levelling them up.

2 通の返信Get red death it is my favorite pvp weapon. It was stronger before the weapon patch but it is really good still.
