I'm sorry Pulse Rifles...
...I was wrong. I didn't let you prove how amazing you truly are; how you strip your enemies apart even at the longest of ranges, how you stay calm and on target through your majestic bursts, or how you can out-snipe the best precision rifles with ease.
But now I've seen the light, you truly are a unique little snowflake.
In all seriousness, I've finally found a Pulse Rifle that I feel comfortable with and it is so awesome! I got a pretty damn good roll on it, so I can use it in almost all situations.
Has anyone else found the true power of the pulse?
Edit: My Pulse Rifle is Three Little Words with Red Dot-ORES, Rangefinder, Fitted Stock and Reactive Reload. It's an absolute beast.

4 通の返信Why can't we get an exotic or legendary version of the stranger's rifle? That thing looks so dope and felt so good for about 12 seconds before i grew out of it. We need a more powerful version of it!

My near fully upgraded "Up for Anything" auto-rifles does around 242 crit damage, while "Three Little Words" is doing 342 with zero upgrades! Looks like I'm going back to using a pulse rifle again! WOOOT! Mine came with, Headseeker, Hammerforged, Speed Reload, Perfect Balance and Reactive Reload.

2 通の返信I have no doubt that pulse rifles are good, I just don't like burst fire. Even a quality Auto Rifle or machine gun can be fired a bullet at a time. It's why I usually go for small magazine version of these guns. You trade bullets for accuracy, range, and recoil improvement. That said, I am in love with Bad Juju, which is why I picked up the bounty again for the better version.

Glad to see someone else who uses Three Little Words! It was my first legendary primary. Got it from a crucible postmaster package and haven't used anything else since! Getting close to finishing the bad juju bounty though, so that may change soon enough.

3 通の返信I can't remember the name of it but a couple days ago I got a new (updated/better than they used to be damage wise) blue, pulse rifle from a roc strike. I didn't dismantle it like I do with all blue weapons I find bc it's impact was insanely high. Im talking like VoC high. 3x the impact I've ever seen on a PR before. If I recall it had a rather large clip to. I haven't used it yet but I'm curious to check it out. I know it's only a rare weapon and not legendary or exotic but it maxes out at 297 damage and that ain't bad for patrols and other non sense.
