Level 31+ Only
Well. As much as I agree that level certainly matters in the raids, please don't dismiss a 29 or 30. We won't reach the level you've reached without some help. I'm sure you had to have some at some point.
Also... Now that this Hunter Character has beaten the raid Solo I see no reason 5 31s and a 29/30 couldn't do it. Or even two 29/30 levels. In fact if you need 31+ ONLY it may something about your skill...
Yea I agree that the 29/30 MAY not have durable armor and might die quicker or strong enough weapons to -blam!- anus but we can do what we can. We can sit in the backlight and add what little damage we can or even be the teams respawn guy.
Isnt not letting us help kind of racists? Discriminating a bit aren't we? Fight the power!

Edit: 70% of people on here if not more are really stupid. You were all low levels at some point and now act as though Bungie birthed you.
Also half of you act like you don't any to play with someone if they don't snort Destiny and suck its onion.
You grind crucible and strike playlist and I do bounties and help my friends with whatever they're doing. Sorry for not soloing everything and dedication 99.9% of my time to Destiny and grinding to level up.
And of course the topic starts as use some lower levels to "you wanna be carried and you suck and blah blah blah". Hello and welcome to the forums.
Let me guess... I'm about to take some more hits on my grind ethics and be called a whiner for the above statements... I'm a diabetic get over it!
Edit 2: My reasoning for wanting to Raid isn't to level up or be carried its solely to expo wrench the DLC first hand.

Ur basically saying that u would rather have other people try harder to help u then for u to try harder to be a bigger help for others in ur raid team.

31 with help? You can't be serious. Play the game, buy the gear, level up the gear by playing it some more. Play the raid. Not hard to do. I ground the hell out of VOG on three different classes to get the gear, bought the DLC all that work rendered useless. What did I do? I played the game, bought the new gear, and played some more to level it all up. On the same three different classes. Not once did I ask for help. Did I have the company of good friends, sure did. Stop being lazy and put in the work. If people want 31+ it's their right to ask for it. They put in the time to get there.

4 通の返信U can get to 31 with all vanguard gear. Anything less than a 30 makes that gamer lazy at this point or just getting started. U can do the Eris quest for 33 light gauntlets for 1 strange coin. Im all for helping people but they have to help themselves first

1 返信I've dragged a 28 and 29 through the lamps, ended up basically running solo after they nuked at about the 3rd lamp. The final boss needs 30s min, even hanging back as the sniper it takes a lvl31 with max ice-breaker 2.0 to drop the Knights with 2 shots, a 29 would not be able to have the damage output against 32 enemies. Even with a lvl 31 sword bearer - you need that base damage overall to knock over the rest of the fight.

One thing you are forgetting about is that the number of enemies scales with the number of guardians. So a solo player has fewer enemies than 6 players. Not that I'm against lower level players as long as they can hold their own. Just a counter point to yours.

With vendor gear now there really is no excuse for trying to get into a raid with level 32 enemies at level 29 you do 60% less damage than a 31. I mean just grind out nightfall/weekly and Vanguard Strikes for the marks and buy that 31 light gear. I agree people need help at some point, but what your asking for is like taking a 27 into the Atheon fight on hard. It ain't gonna happen. I didn't look for a hard raid until I was 29 with maxed weapons and I think people wanting to do Crota should be at least level 30. I don't however agree with 31+ only, but I also don't agree with taking in 29s.

level 30s are fine and you can do with all levels 30s but it gets tough for death singer and you NEED 31 for swordbearer. But level 29s are really sketchy, especially with 31 vendor gear being freely available.

You only need 1 31 for the raid, someone to carry the sword to kill crota, I've had groups run 28s through crotas end, with probably 3 31s and 2 30s, but it could fluxuate (all depends on where my friends are at level wise). To say all 31s or higher are needed is idiotic and only shows that those people have either no confidence or just do not understand how to do most of the raid

Totally agree. I hate level snobbery. Most people that demand 30s only or 31s up for crota simply show that they are so bad that they need their hand held through the raid. I was in a group with a guy requesting 31s only to do crota. I checked his profile and he was 29. Not even a please can some level 31s help me out.

You can hit 31 in a few hours with vendor gear. There is no reason to go in to the raid any lower than that unless you are leveling up raid gear, and then you should be smart enough to do the nightfall/bounties first.

That said, there's no reason now that you shouldn't be a 30 or 31 with the new Tower gear.

1 返信First off- you can get to 31 by getting vanguard or crucible gear. No help needed. That being said, crota really only needs one 31 to battle crota. Everyone else being. 29 or 30 should be fine

Can you explain to us why you can't work a little harder, and become a level 31 with vanguard or crucible gear. Then you won't have to ask to be carried or why no one wants to play with you. Another reason might be the fact that you always are complaining instead or playing.
