There has been an ongoing debate about the class of the dark figure (not xur) that lurks in the tower, her name is Eris, the lone surviver of the first fireteam to fight crota. There where 6 people int this fireteam: 3 Warlocks, 2 Titans, and a hunter. The debate has been over whether she was the Hunter or one of the Warlocks. Eris is a warlock and here is why. [i][b]Her Armor[/b][/i] First point brought up supporting her as a hunter was the fact that she is wearing the armor of a hunter: the cloak, lucky raspberry, and some say Mask of the third man. However they dont seem to notice the fact that she also is wearing a Titan's guantlets and the robe of a Warlock under it all. Eris may have stripped her fallen commrads of their armor in order to survive. notice how the Warlock's robe is under all the armor, that means she had it on first, before the Hunter and Titan armor. [i][b]Eris Herself[/b][/i] Eris's appearance in the tower was not welcomed, manybelieved that the darkness corrupted her. She was allowes to stay only because of the efforts of Ikora Rey who, in exchange for negotiating her stay, recruited Eris into her secret [i]Warlock[/i] orginization. ^^^^being fact checked^^^^ [i][b]The Cloak and Guantlets[/b][/i] The second point brought out is that she is wearing the class item of a hunter and later sells you the same one. This is true but if you observe the discription you may notice a name. [i]"i'll remember the light. Will it remember me?" - Sai Mota[/i] most people just dismiss this like most quotes in the game untill they see this [i]"Mota was so close -- clawing her way out with bones torn from Acolytes. Her fall -- Omnigul. You honor her." - Eris[/i] (Acolyte Rung hunter guantlets) then they point out that the quote was said by Eris so she must be a hunter right? [b]Wrong![/b] If you pay close enough attention to the discriptions you will knotice the name Mota. There was only one Hunter in the group of 6 and her name was Sai Mota, not Eris Thank you to all those who actually read through this, i hope this can conclude the debate of race topic.
