Gjallahorn vs Dragon's Breath vs Any Other Rocket Launcher
What is the Point of any other rocket launcher if you have a Maxed out Gjallahorn?
Nothing Beats It. Literally.
(I'm talking about PvE)
I want Dragon's Breath but why would I use it over Gjallahorn?
Why would I use Truth?
Sure it depends on shields, but even in a Void or Arc Nightfall etc., I'm still using my Gjallahorn because it is still way effective than anything else. I'd just take out shields with a primary or secondary element gun.
On boss fights. Why would I use anything other than Gjallahorn?
The only time I'd change my rockets is in PvP.
I'd use the Truth over Gjallahorn because it is more effective. Anythinge else, no other rocket launcher can compete.
Tell me.... (applies to people with Gjallahorn and other rockets) if you are using a Exotic Rocket Launcher why wouldn't you use?
(And this also doesn't apply to those who would say "I'd use a different exotic weapon" this for use of rockets in general.
If you were to use rockets, why wouldn't you use Gjallahorn?

I have the 'hunger of Crota' and it seems pretty good! But I don't have gjallahorn , but if it's anywhere near as good as that exotics reputation then it must one of the best cause it is still a legendary , and no one likes to use up an exotic slot for heavy

Truth is very good in PvP. In fact, it's more like Gjallarhorn is PvE, and Truth is PvP. In the Crucible, the Truth hold 3 rockets, tracks better and fires very quickly. I love my Gjallarhorn and tend to use it on my character that does not have a Truth, but I can't deny that it's very well balanced in PvP. Try it out maybe... Luck mate!

1 返信I'd say Hunger of Crota is a close second to Gjallarhorn. I've been very impressed. If a rocket launcher is the primary weapon in any given fight then Gjallarhorn wins, but HoC is awesome if you're using Ice Breaker.

3 通の返信It's simple application. dragons breath is ass at taking down bosses but it beats any other launcher at crowd control. The gjallarhorn is a single enemy destroyer if you shoot gjallarhorn at it, it should die. Lastly truth is just crucible the fact I've seen people get killed by truth after they turn a coner it beats everything. By the way i have all three

1 返信If you're looking for best legendary rocket launcher then might i suggest the Hezen Vengeance? Really good rocket launcher for if you want to use a different exotic

1 返信I have a maxed dragons breath and Dr Krispy should be shot for saying that rocket is like a sasquatch and a unicorn having a baby. That rocket launcher is abysmal. It's blast radius is garbage, the solar flare is gone in an instant and the flare give very little damage. Gjallarhorn for life

That being said choosing between Gjallarhorn and Icebreaker has always been the rub for me. Additionally there are some truely fun primary exotics that I would use in a heartbeat if I could free up the exotic slot and still have a solid heavy. Enter Hunger of Crota.. as in my first statement this weapon isn't on the same footing as Gjallarhorn, but it comes pretty close. Close enough, I think, to make a strong case for using it primarily and Gjallarhorn in special circumstances. As for using a different secondary, enter Black Hammer. I do not personally have this weapon yet but everyone I know who does cannot say enough good things about it. My ideal setup is: Hard Light V2 (love that gun.. still need the upgraded version) Black Hammer (my clan mates that have it rave about it's infinite ammo with precision shots) Hunger of Crota (the cluster bombs, while less single target dps do have a higher kill potential than Gjallarhorn against groups)
