Handcannons are my weapon of choice. Watching enemy heads pop never gets tired. The current crop, however, all look pretty rubbish on paper and I can't bring myself to spend the marks on them. Going by various reports on the forum this is probably a wise move. Are they really as crappy as they look? Were they deemed too good pre dlc and intentionally gimped? What's going on Bungie?!
//just to clarify - by current I mean the new, post dlc handcannons

Then on the weekends you break out the stick for cruising up the coastline. Edit: I still don't believe Handcannons have the required sustainable DPS to outperform rifles in Raid situations. My 324 Thorn severely underperforms on the Crota fight in all aspects, compared to my 300 Vision of Confluence. If this game had a damage meter rather than just a kill counter then this matter would be easy to settle, but it doesn't so unless you can show me some proof then I'm afraid I can't give into the hype.

1 返信I was excited to see what they would be but when I got The devil you don't in a drop I put it in my vault immediately. I got a RARE hand cannon that does 294 and has better stats and ammo capacity

3 通の返信The handcannon of the vanguard sucks. It has horrible perks. I got lucky and the vanguard gave me The Devil You Don't with the Luck in the chamber perk and Field Scout perk, so I'm happy with that. Expect to rank up vanguard and it will give you legendary weapons with better perks.

It seems Bungie made the hand cannons available from vendors pretty lackluster. Either they have low magazine sizes or the range sucks. Oddly enough, I got the New Monarchy HC Red Hand IX from legendary engram and its a beast! 10 shots. Send It upgrade. Sweet weapon. Downside is you have to hope to get it as a drop.

Worth a consideration at least. I know I'm looking at getting it. The Devil You Don't isn't worth buying, but an RNG version with some perks like Outlaw, Reactive Reload, Extended Mag, etc. could have some potential. I have one with Rangefinder, Send it, and Crowd Control. It performs decently with the range boost, but damage output is crippled by the 5-round mag.

Your talking about the new Vanguard and Crucible Cannons, right? Yeah, the ones in stock now are not good, but only because the Perks are terrible. Wait for TFWPKY with the Perfect balance perk. That is what I want.

3 通の返信I would love to see a magazine loaded pistol. All this time in to the future they somehow forgot how to make those. I mean slight hit on damage but increase to control , reload speed and rate of fire. If they could balance that weapon out would be nice.
