So, with Fatebringer down and out...
Since Fatebringer was left behind in upgrade dust, what is your new go-to hand cannon?

Fatebringer is still the best. The only level 31+ content is the raid, where it chain kills dozens of thralls at once. Something might be better in different areas but I think it's a bit too early to put fatebringer down.

2 通の返信I never got Fatebringer :( Instead RNGezus gives me the Mythoclast which I didn't want at all. I love my trio of Exotic Hand Cannons. For legendary its just plain old The Devil you Know for me.

FB is still the best, and i am going to guess that those who thinks differently A. do not have fatebringer B. use something else, Hawkmoon, Thorn ect.. honeslty, there is nothing that compares to FB when cleaning mass amount of mobs. no other handcannon compares due to the chain explosions, and also the explosive rounds that do AOE damage. i will put my FB up against any weapon. never mind the arc damage for Nightfall

Fatebringer is far from gone. It has been excellent in the Nightfall and Weekly Heroic, not to mention Crota's End. This gun is one of the best in the core game and should stay relevant a bit longer. Here's holding out hope for a similar gun in future DLC, but for now I'm loving it. Plus this is a pretty rare gun. The response is always the same when you start shooting it while on a strike or Raid as at least one of your squadmates will almost always say "Dude...that Fatebringer.... man, I wish I had that gun". And rightly so.

He -blam!-ing wrecked everything, he would even destroy knight shields in one shot and just leave them sitting there in the open, absolutely ridiculous. Every video I've seen of people beating the new raid has been using VoG or old weapons, in no way are the old weapons useless just because there are new ones with a slightly higher attack. My go-to hand cannon will continue to be my old Red Hand IX, until I get another one with better perks.
