Finally a bit of luck; Hawkmoon from a Legendary Engram drop
I usually have HORRIBLE luck with everything, so now that I finally had a bit of luck, I just have to share this with someone :S
What are your luckiest drops, people? :)
Even though I've cursed getting useless items in the past, it does kinda feel way more special when something like this finally happens :D

1 返信Me and two of my clanmates got Hawkmoon within 5 minutes of each other. First one from Nightfall. Then we went down to get the first chest in Crotas End, BAM, second one got the Hawkmoon while i got energy. Switched character and couldn't believe my eyes when i opened the chest and i got it as well. [spoiler]It was a lot of dancing and cheering in the abyss after that :)[/spoiler]

Same exact thing happened to me, I got the engram as a reward in the nightfall me and guys I was with we're joking like "Alright 2 shards!" get back to the tower....Boom Hawkmoon. The Jurassic Park scene was hilarious also xD

Congrats! It's an awesome weapon. I got it when I did my first run through VoG. Funny thing is, I had no idea what was going on since my friends were helping me go through the raid. Up to that point I had no clue what an "exotic" weapon was I was just starting with Destiny. Who would have though my first exotic would be HM!

1 返信When I heard of hawkmoon for the first time I was like "I want that HC" since I'm a HC lover and can't really play with something else.. Then I went to crota raid and picked up first chest and got hawkmoon the same day I heard of it..

1 返信Lucky you. I have been playing since Day 1 and have never gotten and exotic from a legendary engram or an exotic from Tiger or ROC strikes.

I had the same luck mate. I got it from Daily Heroic quest. I thought: "Well I got The DEvil You Know, why should I bother with anything this legendary engram has to offer? Haha..." And I opened it and I got so damn excited. Great gun btw, it's the best hand cannon I have used in this game. And I got them all except Fate Bringer.

Is it the low impact people like or the red glare while being invisible for a brief moment? I have a legendary arc sniper with double the impact and same ammo overall (Efrideets spear)
