So I had bought Destiny for the Xbox 360 because I had no intentions of buying the Xbox One console (I was not spending freaking $500 dollars on a video game console !!!! Then another $60 if I want a good game with it; NONSENSE!!!) I bought the limited edition after reading the above article stating that the limited edition could provide me with Xbox One copy so that if Microsoft did something to change my mind I could upgrade if need be. So as you all are aware the current sale of the kinect-less version of the Xbox One brought the price down to $350. So yes I bite (today)... I now own the the Xbox One. Owning the limited edition of Destiny for the Xbox 360 I swore all over my Xbox 360 that the limited edition gave me access to the Xbox one version and this article I had bookmarked states the same thing. I spent $100 dollars for the game and the expansion packs; please tell me that on the Xbox One I am simply doing something wrong (with the game retrieval/ download process). I can provide amazon invoice if needed but buying the limited edition I swore this ability in addition to the expansion packs was what I was paying for. I read the update about the digital upgrade that Bugie/Activation is offering but yea.. that doesn't exactly work for me who has the game on disc. If I am stupid and this is not the case please tell me I can be given a discount for the Xbox One version.
