31 gear is ridiculous
It makes all previous gear obsolete, it's also useless because you need raid gear to beat hard mode anyway (Crotas end)
Why are they so retarded all the time, like shit why not make it 30 vangaurd gear and commendations be used to upgrade legendary gear. That way people who were level 30 already had a slight head start to 31 and newbies had to buy their 30 gear and then comendate it to 31 would take slightly longer but still fair, would also give more options to customise appearance if you could hit 31 with a mix of iron banner gear VOG gear and new vangaurd gear, would also allow more variety of specs with all the different perks. -blam!- me look at that, another brilliant idea bungie will take no notice of while Rayping this game over and over like a catholic priest
(Edit 1) this is about variety of armour, not about head starts or ease of obtaining gear, not crying about my 3 30s (am happy have a new clan member that needs to catch up) I just want to keep my gear or at least add in asthetic locking

3 通の返信I say keep it fresh, keep it moving. I welcome the new stuff... I always build up/break down legendary stuff for materials anyway, so it's not like I'm changing anything.

1 返信I would love to keep my vault head, but gotta keep up with the times. Games evolve and move forward, it's the way of the world. I admit, it was fast, only 3 months, but still. I had the same problem in WoW, I would finally get BiS gear from raids and then the expansion would hit soon after, making that gear obsolete. I personally wish they made the game like WoW, gear/level wise. Get to max level and the gear you obtain made you that much more powerful. But then again, WoW is WoW, and destiny is...Destiny lol

1 返信The very concept of my level being based on the gear I wear is stupid to me. My guardian should be whatever level I've gained xp to reach. Gear should only differentiate what perks I want my guardian to have at the moment.

3 通の返信Well, 31 gear is to get you to 32. When new content drops the old gear is usually useless after a while. Personally, I'm just glad to keep my weapons. Upgraded ice breaker and red death and then will do the thorn and thunderlord when I get home.

1 返信I grinded my way to 30 and I don't mind it I rather have more people have 31 gear and able to do the raid then have people complain and try to sneak into hard raids as a lower level. It's surprising how many people aren't 31 right now tbh

1 返信You do realise this is just following on from before the dlc. You could get to lvl 29 from faction armour, 1 lvl below the lvl 30 cap. This is exactly the same, you can buy armour from factions 1 lvl below the lvl 32 cap. Stop whinging and use the tools available to advance in the game.

Honestly I have to agree. Most people that have gotten the hardest gear in the game is beaten out by tower gear...are you kidding me? Why couldn't they just make that gear level 30 kind of irritates me that the raid gear from last raid is less useful than -blam!-in tower gear

3 通の返信I don't think you can call everyone noobs because they weren't 30. I played since launch and I'm still not 30. Strictly because there was no need to be. It isn't fun getting pissy at RNG because the raid didn't give me that last piece of gear I needed. I could do the raid at 29 so I said screw it!

3 通の返信Liberty WaIkにより編集済み: 12/13/2014 1:05:21 AMWith 20-30 bounties in hand you can level up your armor in 5 minutes. I leveled up an exotic I bought today and unlocked 2 raid pieces in 2 hours. I just got Heart of Praxic fire with the new 488 level which I will level up entirely in 90 minutes of gameplay tomorrow. My point is it takes no time at all leveling up a piece of raid gear (current or VOG gear) or exotic. Less that 6 hours max if you don't know how to level it quickly.
