...and I didn't even play very well!
The strategy we used is as follows:
NitroHasTalent and SonsyUncle78 took the doorways leading into the main boss chamber as sniping positions to kill the opposing knights who fire on and wander around the central platform - both of which prevent the sword carrier from safely damaging the boss. They can assist each other in keeping the knights down from these positions, and for the most part stay inside the building with the crystal and avoid confrontation, moving out only to assist in downing Crota's shield and to team the ogres.
Beamen23, sc Furball, Jacker127, and I stay on the central stairs at the bottom. The thrall generally don't advance down the stairs, keeping this relatively good vantage point (mostly) safe. During downtime, everyone's job is to create orbs at the top of the stairwell to use the relic super without wasting time - chaining orbs helps. Once the Swordbearer is in sight, everyone kills him and the chalice is passed to me for the sword run. As I ran over I gave a "3, 2, 1, fire" countdown so the team behind me knew when to shoot and not to shoot if I didn't say "fire" because of a delay on my end. Once the boss is downed, I attacked with the pattern Rb Rb RT (this maximizes dps, giving the strength of an RT attack without the slowness) and used the super as soon as it was available to me. Once the boss' orange shield lights up and he begins to stand, I immediately jump to the lower level and begin another countdown to fire for a second round of attacks.
After both attacks per sword phase, we all move back to our positions and pass the chalice around as needed. After phase 1 we hug the right wall to avoid being hit by Crota from above, and after phase 2 most of the team hugs the left wall for the same reason, but at least one person and ideally two shoot the ogre on spawn from behind a pillar on the right Once the ogre's are dead, the whole fight begins a loop, so you rinse and repeat.
There's a lot more I could say, but I think that covers most of it. If you have questions, ask away!
Edit: seeing now that plenty have already done this. Oh well, it was fun.

Alright guys, can someone link me a video of someone else doing this? Because I am on my phone and not seeing it online right now, and frankly considering how hard it was I am in disbelief that other people grinded it out. I was under the impression people changed armor at the end and their level during the raid isn't reflected in the carnage report... So yes. Has anyone else recorded this or are we really just super late to the party? Please and thank you
