Anyone buy armor for looks instead of stats?
I would rather look like a badass in combat instead of wearing gear just for stats. What do you guys think? I've meet other players who just want to get to 30 but dont wear what they like. Also they should make shaders for sparrows. EDIT They could invent some kind of vanity slot

2 通の返信Maybe I am in the minority. I just don't care what my toon looks like. I just don't play the game to look good. I'll take stats over looks any day. I don't even wear shaders.

Yes and no. I care about looks AND stats. Some of my gear is for the stats, so I can get through the game, but I'm constantly in search of good-lookin armor. Right now my personal peeve is how ugly yet effective most of the exotics are.

I just bought a set of tower gear (I'm already 30) just because I'm sick of looking like a crappy Vex clone. At first I loved that set (I still do), it was pretty sweet but now everyone has it and I want to be a pretty snowflake. I don't care what forum buttholes say either, the new armor looks neat and I intend to use it.

[b][i]God of War[/i][/b]. Dayum, I want that thing. I have something like a 48 level rep with the Cryptarch, and that stingy goat hasn't given me jack on leveling drops.

Especially when it comes to trait upgrades, there are some massive swings in gear that make a VERY big difference. Hard to replace a +125 strength with a +25 strength because it looks neato. YMMV of course.
