VoG gear is worthless in the new raid. Have you even played in it yet? Let me spoil it for you, being a 30 and all, you get 1 shotted by Knights and your Lv.30 is useless now. I recommend Vanguard gear now.

i guess vog only worth doing to get fatebringer and mythoclast armor now obsolete and energy shards for legendary weapons you wish to upgrade

Its a highly successful game available to the masses. It has to be accessible to many players while giving the hardcore something in return which is the raid gear, once again giving u an additional lvl of light. Its the same as the pre-dlc approach Thing is, this time around there are new progressions and the raid which is actually a major step up compared to the last 1. Its awesomez

That's what happens when new content comes out.. Look at any game, look at borderlands, same thing happens all the time, only reason ppl feel like it's not fair not is because the raid is hard, and people feel like they earned their gear.. But it will always happen.. It will happen again when the next dlc comes out too.

I've just done part of the raid... It's hard !!!! I got raid gauntlets and 3 radiant shards. I'm telling you now it's gonna take along time to get full axed out raid gear to level 32 !!

The Armor is def worthless now. Playing it is far from worthless. You still need Ascendant Shards and Energies to level up weapons. Also, getting existing raid weapons especially the Vex make it worth it. These weapons are still a viable option within the new Crota's End Raid.

It's not worthless! According to every other post in the past month it's the only way to distinguish "true" level 30's. XD

In my opinion I think allowing vendor gear to get ppl to level 31 is acceptable. to be able to purchase the gear they are going to need to level up their vendors pass 3 to get one token thing. each piece of armor costs one of these tokens, so thats 4 ranks if they are pass 3. Now for those uou strictly play crucible would it would be fair becuz they grond just as much if not more than us who spend hours doing the same strikes and raids. when iron banner comes around they should play at a level they worked hard to get to their own way, just like some of you grind all the strikes on 3 character just to have one strong character. As for the vualt of glass being pointless I don't think so think of it this way ive gone thro the vualt of glass 10 times now and beat atheon 14 I only had raid boots until recently when last week I finally got my gounlets all I need now is the chest peice to reach 30, but all I ever get is acendent material I dont even have the cloak when thats all I went into the raid for in the first place. Amd a shot at getting the last word... but now I can work up my venders for a week or 2 amd buy a chest peice to replace the raid chest piece and then go through the hard raid as a level 30 amd maybe get the vex or othwr good weapons I need. And im not thr only one im sure there are a lot of 29s with the same luck I have and dont get what we need to be a "real 30"

The weapons and materials are still good not to mention now to can do 2 raids a week...more chances for exotics

It says in the description on the fix that it's less powerful and it's giving people who get destiny for Christmas an actual chance without having to do the first raid because it would be harder to find a group it's not a perfect solution but has anything bungie done so far
