People that complain about the wipe don't understand how great it is that bungie is doing this for us.
They are LETTING us keep our old favorite exotics by letting us upgrade them so that they are actually viable in the new dlc.
But instead of being like " oh ok that's awesome it makes it so I don't have to grind for the new exotics " , you all complain that you don't feel like doing the work to re level it up.

That's the stupidest argument!! "They are letting".....if it was my game the idea of my customer's exotics becoming obsolete wouldn't even cross my mind. My customers love them, worked for them...these people made me millions upon millions of dollars. So I am going to keep them pleased by keeping their exotics relevant, adding a couple of nodes to the tree. They can continue leveling up their exotics from where they left off, giving them a chance to make them more powerful without getting screwed over. This will make them happy as most of them like leveling up their gear and will look forward to more things to do and progress. I am not going to do it in a deceitful manner and with a cheap shot way of trying to get more play time out of them to beef up my numbers.

That's really not the issue that bothers me. It's very amazing that they are giving us a chance to increase the damage on some of our weapons. We didn't know what Bungie was going to do in the patch. I kind of hoped it would just be a level boost (replace armor only and weapons would stay at 300 max attack) I leveled all of my exotics to 300/300, and it was quite a bit of work for completion status. It just feels like a huge slap in the face for pouring my time into this game- especially 3 months into the games life. That's my biggest issue. Give me some sort of stability for 6 months or a year- don't change things whenever you feel like it. It feels so unfinished.
