you don't have to reset, it's your choice.
After thinking about it (and replying to another post) our real choice is to stop playing or reset our gear and keep playing. Bungie is telling us to reset and run the same stuff to upgrade it. Why we would keep playing without resetting the gear? If we're going to run the same stuff we are now, who wouldn't do it with the new gear? We really don't have a choice, we're doing exactly what they want.
I like the game and will keep playing. However, I think we're being messed with. Bungie has some smart people deciding what to do next, they are not game developers, they are psychiatrist.

1 返信This is like saying... after your 2 year contract.. you dont have to upgrade your phone... you can keep the old shitty phone you have..

8 通の返信If you want to progress in the game then yes, by all means upgrade. But advancement will be stunted because of this.

6 通の返信not really tho you are correct you have to click on that option any enemy over lvl 30 & yes this includes fellow guardians in the crucible will take far less damage from a NON upgraded exotic so even though they are not resetting them if you chose not to your basically running around w/ a weapon / armor that any lvl 30 + green is superior to

1 返信I don't mind resetting an exotic and upgrading it again because in the end it will be better. Plus it will be done super quick. Take in as many bounties as you can and equip the exotic piece you have reset and as you take in your bounties the exotic will upgrade faster.
