I'm getting very tired of these stuck up ass level 30's who will only play with other level 30's. I have a 30 warlock and 2 29's (a titan and hunter). I tried for an hour to find a group to do the hard raid with and nobody would let me join with my 29 titan. Which is bullshit because I guarantee I am better than they think I am. I know how to play the vog like a pro but nobody would give me a chance because I do less damage. Bullshit. All I want to do is do the hard raid with my titan to maybe get the chest so I could have another character at 30.
Update: finally got a great group of guys and got the raid on hard done. Didn't get the chest I was wanting but I got the helmet. But I have helm of inmost light so didn't really need it lol.
Edit: I'm not saying all 30's are like this. Not even saying most are. Just some. Hell I'm a 30 myself on another character and I've helped 29's before. Also I've seen comments of people saying the people didn't want to play with me because I'm probably bad..and they don't want someone with my attitude.. How the -blam!- can random people I message from lfg have any idea how good I am without giving me the slightest chance? Or how I talk to people? Every person I've played with on destiny has enjoyed my company. So those comments do not make sense at all. Please, quit commenting stupid shit. Its giving me a headache.
Update: over 350 replies or whatever its called. Thanks to all of you who agree with me and thanks to all of you level 30's who aren't like the ones I encountered in that hour. Also I've never seen a post where the author has replied to as many comments as I have. Granted some of my replies are rude but I'm not rude unless you provoke me. Thanks again to all who deserve it. To all who don't.... You should be ashamed of yourselves lol.
Update: 550 replies. Damn!

It all comes down to how confident they are with themselves. Last night I ran HM VoG with two level 27s and four 30s. They were friends and we wanted to help them get better loot and why it got a little frustrating at Atheon when they would get sent through we stuck though it and taught them what to do and we beat it. They didn't get any really great loot though... I believe one guy did get the rest of the armor he needs for 30 so he was happy.

1 返信It all comes back to player personality, cooperation, and overall skill. Finished Atheon yesterday with an annoying 29 that couldn't stop talking about how strong his unmaxed Gjhallehorn was all the while dying before anyone was even teleported. Moreover, none of his other weapons were 300. But I've also seen Lvl 30 players using Golden Gun on final Atheon too. Or had no idea the portal team could finish the last two oracles while the relic exited. It's easy to tell who has experience and who doesn't. 29 or 30

1 返信Level 30's are probably worse than most 29's but they just got lucky in the raid cause I've done hard and normal so many times and still haven't gotten to 30

1 返信I want to get through the raid as fast and efficiently as possible. 30's do more damage and take less damage, and I don't know how good someone is before I play with them so I assume everyone is equal skill. Then, I'd obviously choose a 30 over a 29. Even if I knew they were good, the damage penalty makes a big difference and I'd rather have an average 30 than a pro 29.

1 返信I can tell you havnt played a multiplayer rpg before. Of course level 30s want level 30s to run a LEVEL 30 RAID. They wanna go through it quickly, not have a 29 with reduced armor and damage to bog them down.

Not all level 30's are like that, our group last night consists of 3 29's and 3 30's and we ran through the vog easily. I don't think theirs a major skill gap between lvl 29 and 30, besides the fact that you will get a 30% disadvantage if your a level 29 on the VoG on hard. There is kind level 30's out there guardian, you just have to find them, plus, I'm one upgrade away >.< and I'll be a "kind" level 30 ;).

Yh, it can be annoying at times. Sometimes have a hard time finding a group with my non-30 titan. It was even worse with my hunter. Today, I beat it with a group of three 30's and three 29's, of which two 29's didnt even have (all) max weapons. Beat it without any problems regarding damage. The only problems we encountered were trying to find good tactics with that team and the usual bugs. It is perfectly possible, but the elitism is pretty strong with this game.

It's never going to stop unfortunately. I just hope you manage to find some like minded players via a clan to settle in with to work through existing content and the new DLC. Eventually LVL32 will be the new LVL30 but that will take a little time to arise. I am expecting a run of humorous tear threads come 12/9 calling the new LVL30's scrubs and fakes because they didn't 'earn' their gear through RNG in VoG or grind to LVL5 rank in IB2.0 ;)

Jutsuにより編集済み: 12/7/2014 3:29:59 PMI've raided with a group of all 30s, minus one level 27 Warlock. I wasn't the most confident about his involvement in the run, but he really showed up. Not only was he holding his own, but he was better than a lot of 29s and some 30s who I'd teamed up with.

6 通の返信I'm a 30 warlock and 29 titan and would run you through the hard raid even without getting any drops. I do it several times a week. But after reading your comments to these other posts you can forget about it. I don't know how you are while doing the raid but you seem like an ass from reading your posts. Attacking people who aren't saying anything bad about you. Good luck getting that chest piece.
