Like I said. I dont mind regrinding my guns.
But I used telemetries, farmmed materials pre Vendor selling. Stacked bounties and paid my glimmer dues to upgrade every exotic gun I have.
Why does some guy who just found/earned/reveived one get to trade it in for a new one the same way? I should at least have my glimmer waived or discounted for trading in a fully upgraded one.
Does anyone agree with that?

It is worse than even that. Any new drops automatically get the upgrade. So not only do we get our effort and materials reset, we also have to pay an additional fee just to have the PRIVILEGE of having the same potential as someone who put in zero effort.

Except that those of us who already have it need to depend on an EXTRA level of RNG of whether or not Xur will even allow us to upgrade it that week. So we still have to depend on RNG, but with the added negative of the privilege fee.

Bungie has said that the process of upgrading the guns through xur will be more dependable. This insinuates that they will most likely be implementing a rotation of some sorts for the weapons being available for upgrade. If that's not the case then I agree it sucks balls.
