Reaction to new nightfall level
READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE COMMENTING THAT VANGUARD GEAR WILL GET YOU TO LEVEL 31.
So now with crota's end the nightfall will be level 30. Bungie needs to stop shoving the raid down our throats here. Now to play the nightfall you have to farm the raid to get the raid gear. Then upgrade it all the way JUST TO DO THE NIGHTFALL. This is awful. Enjoy your last nightfall this week everyone cause from now on youre gonna have to get all your raid gear leveled up completely before you can play.
Edit: I do read the patch notes so to those of you who were ever so excited to bite my ass over that then let me share the only quote from the weekly update on the topic of armor being sold. [quote]More powerful Legendaries will drop, or be sold by vendors[/quote]
So that doesnt say anything at all about level 30 armor. That means you can all back off my ass now. And since this makes the entire above post a little useless let me share some new problems arising from this.
All the legendary gear now in the game is useless simply because you can go buy better armor.
All that precious raid gear out now (vog) will be now useless because the tower will sell the equivalent.
All the upgrading of your legendaries now was practically useless if it wasnt raid gear.
And my next question is will this level 30 nightfall be the only tier or will there still be a level 28 option?
Based on some of your previous responses I am sure most of you work at Bungie or something based on the amount of info you got from nothing in the weekly update so please answer all my questions. (That entire sentance was sarcasm if you didnt get it)
Edit 2 To everyone telling me that vanguard gear will get you to level 30 READ THE ENTIRE POST FIRST.

To get to level 30 yes you need to farm for the raid gear and hope you get them, but you can still get past the nightfall at 29,itll be difficult because of the 20 percent decrease in dmg. All you need is all legendary gear fully upgraded to at least get around 29.

I hope not, I've not raided as much as most but I have a fair few weapons when I do, never any armour, when I ran it twice this week all I got were weapons I already have, shards and energies, so one more roll of the dice on Tuesday..... I hate rng.

New vanguard gear starts off with a light stat of 24. They can reach a max of 33 light stat. This is more than enough to hit 30. The new vanguard armor will be available to everyone, not just people with the DLC.

I did the first Nightfall under leveled.. was 2 under I believe it was hard as hell and fun.. After that I solo'd all of them multiple times Just cause your under the level of difficulty doesn't mean a damn thing

1 返信Don't agree that people should be able to get to level 30 without at least a few pieces raid gear! And yes i do know how hard it can be to get with the awful rng!!

Putting the nightfall level up was going to happen sooner or later but it would be a very good idea to keep the level 28 nightfall aswell but the rewards would maybe need tweaking a touch since most of us will be going past 30 at some point!

And armor from the iron banner lvl 31. Maybe u should thoroughly read bungies comments before u post something on the forums and get a lot of negative feedback. So u don't have to run the raid ever if u don't want too Edit: raid Gear isn't useless you will need it on the new raid so u can obtain lvl 32 raid gear. And legendary armor pre DLC is useless anyways because u have to upgrade that armor to get to lvl 29 just to be able to run the lvl 30 vog. Ur whole raid set is not going to drop on lvl 26 vog. U need to fully lvl up normal legendary gear than scrap once u get raid gear.

Welcome to RPGs.. I don't think many people were surprised that legendaries would become obsolete when the level cap goes up. Frankly I am surprised that they are supporting leveling exotics beyond where they started.

1 返信As long as it's solar I don't care what it is. I wish they would add a nightfall play list but with a slightly better than tiger strike loot table.
