about 75-80% of people don't like the Exotic wipe
(I know it's not a full "wipe" per say...just that was the phrase people were using)
75-80% of people are unhappy with what Bungie is doing to us. That's a HUGE number. Keep taking these people enjoyment away and you're not gonna have very many people left.
It's not like you're going to lose 10% of people. It's the majority of people.
Choose wisely.....little light.
Edit #1: Before you post a reply, take the time to read what other people have already replied so that you don't just put the same redundant message.
It would be better if you add to the discussion and not just post a new "you're pulling this out your ass...you liar."
Edit #2: there is a poll on the "trending" part of the forums. It is in the top 10-15 spot. Check it out, vote. Make it more accurate.the more people that participate the better. Just helps Bungie see what players really want. NO I did not just make the numbers up.
Edit #3: I'm not saying everyone will leave because of this single update. The point is please take into consideration what's best for the greater population. The info I reference is what I saw on forums. But if the majority of the people think differently then yes they should incline towards that. I'm not saying I'm right or if you think differently than me you're wrong. The point is to think of the greater population.
Edit #4: Yes, I know not EVERY single person that plays Destiny across the world gets on this forum. But don't you think that the vast majority of the people on this forum are people who put a lot of time into this game?! From my experience, I don't go into forums for games which i don't play much. I only go into sites of games which I am very involved in. I believe we still get a good size sample and that the community of this forum is a good representation of the overall players.

Just becuase some people are not happy here on the forums does not mean Bungie has to stop and not do it no matter what is said here. For these forums do not make up the majority of the players of the game ever. These forums are a minority of the players in truth. So no they do not have to choose wisely at all. Those who get butthurt and leave over it are stupid immature entitlement minded children who have now idea of how this game was going to be and are just too lazy to re-level their weapons or feel they should be snowflakes but instead will just be cupcakes. Polls really mean nothing because they can be manipulated by false accounts easily. so no matter what that polls says it cannot be taken as even 60% as to what is truth or not. They are taking into consideration what is best for the greater population of the game and not just the whiners that dont want to have to take the time to level their weapons once more. No they should not ever incline towards the majority on the forums ever, They should not ever allow themself to be bullied by the players on the forums ever in what is done or not done with the game.

5 通の返信i seriously don't get the controversy over this. It's not mandetory, #1. #2, if it weren't for a mechanic like this, every single current-exotic piece of equipment would be outshined by something in the next raid. Example: Lets say i get an exotic helmet that does the EXACT same abilities/perks as my current helmet, but looks like poop and has more light. by Destiny standards, i have no choice but to take off my favorite helm, and start leveling the poopy one. same applies to weapons..

1 返信At least your weapon will start out at 302 ATK power. It does suck to have to re-level, but I'm going to be grinding bounties to snatch up commendation medals anyway - may as well apply that exp to something. At least we are able to keep our current exotics relevant moving foward - I would be lost without my Icebreaker.

I actually like the exotic reset. Being able to take my favorite exotic with me into the new hard raid in January will be very helpful instead if having 1 month to farm whole new helpful exotics. Most mmo expansions leave old weapons useless, this is actually helpful to the players. And they've also said they the upgraded exotics will take less xp to upgrade so it will much easier to get your perks back. I think people are panicking from the reset part. It's really not as bad as it seems and is actually a benefit to us all.

It's what separates the men/women for the boys/girls. A little intestinal fortitude goes a long way, young buck. Edit* or is it...little light? :)

first, it's not even on the first two pages, second, that's a percentage of the people who spend massive amounts of time on the forum, a very small portion of the user base, and the majority of vocal people on the forum are vocal in order to complain.. so yes, in a narrow venue comprised of largely people who are against most everything bungie has done since release.. they agree with each other.

Or maybe you think its so high because only those with sand in their vagina are speaking out. Out of my normal raid group only 1 is angry, and that's because he jumped to conclusions to and will likely to quit being butthurt once he looks at it again.

7 通の返信The upgrade starts at 300 attack which means all you're losing is the perks for your gun, but you're not losing the amount of damage it does. The exotics will still be usable in the new raid after you upgrade them.

7 通の返信For anyone who doubts a lot of people are upset it's so noticed deej acknowledged it on his posting as well as ign did a report on player outrage about resetting exotics. So stfu if you don't believe people are unhappy you sheep.

Means nothing.. The grinding aspect of the game will prevail because that's what the design of the game was based around.. So the complaining over re-upgrading an exotic for the damage upgrade is a personal choice.. You want a better gun? Then wipe and upgrade.. If not, then keep your base weapon it's very simple

5 通の返信It's funny because when I talk to people in game about what is going to happen with their exotics, so far 100% of them have been happy that they have the chance to upgrade their exotics and they don't really mind having to level them up again.
