Oh so you could tweak mythoclast without resetting it but when it comes to other exotics all of the sudden its not possible?? FY bungie! FY!

You're getting a new version of the gun to bring it up to dlc you understand this right? Where every other gun you have will sit at it's current cap they are allowing us to bring our best forward with us when they could have just as easily been left with the others it takes a whole 2 hours to achieve max upgrades this isn't a big deal

The exotics would be easy to upgrade. It takes alot of freaking telemetries to max them!

They don't HAVE to be, it's a choice and one I'm happy to have. I can only speak for myself but by Thursday every week I have all my raids nightfalls and heroic strikes done if anything reupgrading gives us something to do
