I just prefer pve... I couldn't give a damn about pvp. I don't even know what my kd is like and I don't care because like I said I don't care about PvP and as a result don't apply myself when playing it.

I Don't play much pvp. I'm burnt out on it. I've been playing it since the battlefront days on the PS2, cod on pc then to console, halo in all of its guises. In all multiplayer games it takes a bit of play to learn the maps, effective weapon combos and tactics. After getting used to that particular system you generally improve and start to feel like it should be intuitive. It isn't. Some skill compensations such as server connection issues can be beneficial. I have stayed away from pvp for the most part because I think it's a shallow experience. That's MY opinion. Because I don't play much my skill level is lacking to be effective. I could torture myself until I improve but why? It's not like the old days where my options for gaming were limited. I have a gaming pc and multiple console titles to choose from. I play games to relax not to rant at the screen. In some respects the poster was correct but it should have been worded more clearly. When I first read the title I felt like it was a troll post. The people he is complaining about are pvp players complaining about game dynamics they claim are responsible for their failures. Not only are they not indicative of pve players they aren't examples of all pvp players. Play what you love. Stop dumping on someone else because they don't agree with you.

And apparently "Good PvP player" means "really condescending" sometimes. Seriously get over yourself. Surprisingly some people don't want to play a game type they aren't good at - that doesn't mean they lack character, it means they don't enjoy the same thing as you do. Apparently you don't even enjoy Destiny PvP - but because you're good at it you are a better person? And have time to complain about others on a forum. Go play the master collection and stop being so judgy.

Good PvP player = guy who knows map, or guys in large squad. But enjoy dem feels, :)

Yeahhhhh. I love competitive FPS, it was my favorite type of game to play. Then I was introduced to the lag fest you call the crucible and I never went back. Get good internet.

Halos pvp never got old! Those were the good old days. You had grifball (my personal favorite) swat (my personal favorite) big team battle ctf and so much more. Destiny = Boring same 4 game modes. And every thing was balanced. Halo > destiny

I was decent at crucible when this game first came out then I started killing brainless enemies in PvE and it ruined me. It's always better playing with a group you know, that way I know there isn't someone else all upset cause I am not great at the crucible. Just like any PvP for me in any game, I have good weeks and horrible weeks (this is a horrible week) haha. Regardless the crucible is still fun even if I'm being wrecked or actually doing [u]some[/u] of the wrecking!

I am primarily a pve player, why? Because crucible is a broken mess that appeals to the weakest players. Want shit tons of one hit kills? We've got thay Want terrible spawns? Got that covered aswell How about badly placed objectives? Terrible weapon balancing and generally bad ideas? Well looks like you've hit the jackpot There is a reason a game like borderlands doesnt have any competetive and that is because it just doesnt -blam!-ing work. Only way to fix destinys crucible is to remive everything from it and only allow the kvostov and even then im sure something wont be right.

I like PvE better. PvP sucks in this game. If I want to PvP I play Battlefield. What's your theory on that.

I play games for enjoyment. I don't take it [i]this[/i] seriously. Lots of other important issues in our world than being good at a video game.

I prefer solo or cooperative games. Hence, pve. I don't enjoy pvp, and I am not interested in forcing myself to play a game format I dislike, just to get better. PvP is just not in my personality. However, those who create threads that seek to lob grenades or divide a community... well, they are the real problem.

haha, I don't play PVP because I get wrecked. I have no beef with it. Its actually odd because I'm generally good at PVP, not with Destiny, though. I know what you mean, though. A lot of dudes get crushed and scream that suro needs nerfed, etc, etc. Lame.
