Anytime you see a post of some guy claiming he likes pve better cause pvp 'is stupid', there is a 99% chance he just sucks.
I check kd and win rates of these kids often and they are almost always below 1.0 kd with like a 30% winrate.
Edit: just to clarify, anyone who knows they are bad and that's why they don't like pvp are AWESOME people with huge character. These people WILL get better and eventually be wrecking people. It's the complainers who cry op and nerf, that I have the issue with. These are the kids that need to learn that it's THEM that's the problem.
And I'm not saying destiny pvp is great cause it's not. It's just the attitudes that need to change.
Trust me you'll get so dope at any game if you just look to YOURSELF for mistakes, and not others/other factors.
To anybody out there
You're lying to yourself you're slowing dying. You're denying your health is declining with your self esteem. You're crying out for help.
I guess I keep talking to myself.
Halo>>>>>>destiny. That is all.

TheArtistにより編集済み: 1/6/2015 4:56:25 PMI am PvE player who prefers PvE to PvP. Especially in Destiny's typical Crucible (IB is another story). Here's the flaw in your "logic". 1. My K/D is 0.78 with my main Warlock because I don't play often (basically only during IB, which is the only Crucible I enjoy playing). But I am a former Titanfall player whose Kd was 2.5. 2. I have games with 20 kills. KDs that were over 3 for a particular match, and I've earned EIGHT "Uprising" medals. Which means I'm good enough to have killed the other teams best player THREE TIMES in the same match. 3. I'v completed every exotic weapon bounty inthe game that requires PvP...including Thorn. 4. That 0.78 was largely racked up in the last 2 Iron Banners...and I generally don't play in the Crucible any other time. So that is a 0.78 racked up while giving AWAY a considerable advantage to people who play PvP regularly. So the bottom line is that I CAN play competitive shooters well when I CHOOSE to play them regularly. I CHOOSE NOT to play Destiny's Crucible reguarly because I enjoy PvE more...and I LIKE the people who are PvE players better than PvPers. As a group you generally meet nicer people who aren't interested in shaming other people over game stats.

I've found that Good pvp players can excel in pve however pve players have a hard time adjusting to pvp. You can't be one dimensional in these games you need to balance out your okay time in each. That's why destiny has bounties for both. It keeps you sharp in each.

1 返信Your logic is flawed. The more you play, the better you get. But why would you play something you don't enjoy only to get better at it? Although I've never tried it, I don't imagine eating feces is very pleasurable. So if I can't swallow a turd in the first try, I should be ashamed for sucking at it?

1 返信I play pve mainly and I would still kick your ass in PvP when your to good at pvp it gets boring and theres nothing left to do

3 通の返信If anyone cares about precious KDR and other PvP stats, you're just a sad little elitist prick. Your stats don't matter. You will not be pro. You will get no medal. You get nothing. Stop being morons about PvP and just enjoy the damn game. Jaysus! I only play PvP for bounties and only if friends want to play it to kill some time. Straight PvE player, here. Never cared for PvP in anything. No point.

I suck at pvp and I openly admit. However, PvE is 90% of this game. Which means that PvE is supposed to be the main focus. The PvE is interesting and fun and people play together and find stuff. The crucible is basically just call of duty with extra hp and supers. I enjoy it from time to time, but the PvE is way more playable.

Joker_Karasuにより編集済み: 1/5/2015 10:59:56 PMIn my experience being good PVP is %80 psychological and %20 skill. By playing PVE regularly you will get good in the game as you spend more time with your chosen class and familiarize yourself with your character moves and other little nuances. You will learn what can and can't be done by your character and exactly how much damage you can take before you have to run for cover. When it comes to PVP however it is the hesitation that kills you. You already know your character in and out, you just need to realize that despite that fact that you're playing another person you can still do all the things you did in PVE and just do it. If you die, it just means you made a mistake, didn't watch your flank, spent too much time exposed and failed to line up your shot quickly and correctly. I learned all of this doing the thorn bounty, my last match with the thorn bounty had me with almost 20 kills and 3.8 k/d.

1 返信I am clearly a pve and Pvp God. That's why I've won 5 gold medals for being de best.

Stats don't mean shit in cruicable. So much lag that the ones with shitty Internet usually have better k/D RATIO. I can go in a match with some good running players and end up 1.7 to 2.5. Laggy game I'm dying twice as much as im killing. Perhaps your one of those lagging players with your great stats eh?

AutoEuphoriaにより編集済み: 1/5/2015 4:41:29 PMI just don't like it...I'd rather work with people than against them. I've never been in a PvP match where the entire team functioned as one...it's always 6 people out on their own doing their own thing. I'd rather work with 2 or 5 other people towards a common goal. I will admit I'm terrible at PvP, though...but it's probably sort of a cyclical thing. I don't play it because I don't like it; I'm not good at it because I don't play it.

I love PvP, in fact socom is my favourite game and when h-hour hits I'll be off but I don't like crucible ...for the same reason I don't like CoD Only way they are fun is with a good group of friends you play with regularly, with socom people just worked as a team from the get go. You dont see that in destiny, and yea I am bad at destiny pvp but longer I play in there better I get but with out friends to play with what's the point
-
I play pve mainly because I'm fed up with pvp had it through mw2 & 3 black ops etc you get the idea and before anyone says it I'm not comparing them to destiny I've tried the crucible didn't like it so I don't play it. It's like others have said personal choice. I find the pve side more relaxing and fun to play which pvp to me isn't. I totally agree about the nerf squad though they're in denial whereas I know I'm not good but I don't care.
-
I do agree with most of what you stated. Now I am not bad at crucible I am a Lil bi polar against the same group one match I can totally dominate and be on top and then the next match be towards the bottom. But to say pve are bad PvP players I disagree as I have more fun playing pve with friends then pvp. Its all about preference. I do agree with the rest of ur statement specifically the whiners need to stop and a better match making system with a ranking system needs to be added.

I think the biggest problem is that the crucible is not designed to be competitive. There are no rewards for individual achievement. The afk guy gets as much as the next guy. The 1/15 guy gets as much as the next guy. There is no persistent ranking system. This lends itself to people not caring about abusing the loot/reward system. I have played drunk, gone afk, let my clueless friends play, etc. I don't take the Crucible serious at all because there is no reason to. Finally, something not many people mention. BOUNTIES. Bounties force all the players who want that extra xp for the day to waltz into the crucible and try to achieve very specific goals. I myself have spent more than a few matches going for the sniper headshot achievement while ONLY using the sniper rifle. My k/d's were horrible because I was trying to no scope headshot people who came up on me. I don't care if I die. I just want to finish the bounty faster. These bounties give players a reason to play outside of their optimal playstyle. And,once again, there is no incentive to be serious about it at all. Exotic bounties also apply. One last thing: Factions don't accept Vanguard marks. EVERYONE has to go to the Crucible. Like it or not. This is the single worst design flaw regarding destiny's factions and I have no idea why they have refused to fix it or even explain why they have not fixed it.

I completely agree that, all the whining about nerfing this and that is slowly destroying destiny. And most of those complaints are coming from people who are below average at pvp. I agree that people need to access the own limited skill before blaming anyone else. But I believe that the reason for all this whining is a result of an unbalanced matchmaking system in crucible. A ranked playlist is an absolute essential in any competitive multiplier. Forcing highly skilled players to play with newbies or lower skilled players is a recipe for disaster, and frustration. people should be matched against players of the same skill. This leads to improvement in players skill and a more enjoyable experience

You probably could of voiced this a little better, but your not far from the truth I suck at pvp BIG TIME So I play pve, simple I try and have a little go every now and again and get Owned, and I have a little tantrum of how crap pvp is, and how I'll never play it again lol Then I realise.....it's just a game! Some time goes by and I try again...will I ever learn?
