So i have not played destiny in over a month because I played way too much in the first 2 months (240+ hours) and I thought that the new dlc would pull me back in. WELL -blam!- YOU TOO BUNGIE/ACTIVISION! (See. . . I just blame both) I will talk to some people on twitch after watching their live streams about a week after release to see if it is as painful as it looks and if it is I am selling destiny even thought I bought the season pass. No game is worth that kind of pain and I have seen or played any mmo in history to do anything close to this drastic when releasing an expansion.
So it was a fun run guys peace out and you may never see me again on these forums.

Are you kidding? Every expansion pack in every MMO instantly makes all your gear completely worthless. This, at least, makes it so that items you have (the Gjallarhorn, the Suros, the Pocket Infinity) continue to be relevant numerically as the game releases more and more updates. Yes, you'll probably have to level them every DLC. Yes, you'll be able to keep them and continue to use them... which means that Exotics will not immediately become worthless, and the cool things each Exotic does will continue to be relevant and useful in leveled PvP or in PvE as the game goes on. This does NOT make your collection worthless, which is exactly what I was afraid of. I was desperately scared that my Gjallarhorn would just stay at 300 attack until the end of the game, not upgrading as DLC is released, until it's basically worthless. That isn't happening. This news is not 1% as shitty as I expected.
