Ever raid with a complete A-Hole?
His name was The Fossa God on xb1. It started on gatekeeper. I asked "do you guys go do 2 at once or 1 at a time?" No answer. Then I saw "who's going in?" No answer. I go in then two others follow me. We kill the gatekeeper and someone else grabs relic. We go out then cleanse.
Once out, Relic holder goes to the middle and kills minotuars as they spawn with me. He says "hey buddy you know there's goblins down there you have to take care of" I said yeah I'm on it (wanted to say go -blam!- yourself). All the while someone's in right portal trying to solo it without the relic holder so he goes blind. I come in and kill the gatekeeper and pick up relic then die because I was also blind. The first relic holder blames the wipe on me.
Then we try about 5 more times, each time he yells at me for going in on left portal to do a little damage then leave. Each time I leave he dies picking up the relic or trying to leave the portal, blaming me for "not letting him kill goblins so his super could charge". Most of the times I can go in and either pick up the relic near the portal or go to the gatekeeper because he died picking it up. Every time, someone else went in at the same time I did. Once I came out of the portal the guy would stay in and get stuck. We eventually wipe because of we don't have enough players to guard portal and middle and kill gatekeeper (like I said, all of that happens about 5 times). On the last attempt the guy who came in with me got stuck and died again. The original relic holder said "its fine you died because decenzerr isn't a team player" and I said "no its because you're salty AF that you die every time and cant hold the relic" so I got kicked.
A minute later I get messages saying:
"I'm salty because you're a -blam!-ing idiot" "nobody wanted you here stupid you leave with the relic you close the port you idiot you cause a direct wash multiple times -blam!-ing retard"
"You don't have to one guy can take Venus -blam!-in retard."
"You blow my mind with how -blam!-ing stupid you are"
"Do me a favor and kill yourself I'm not even the one that booted your stupid ass"
"What's sad is you're a 30 (I was on my 28 though) and you don't know things about the raid that's so sad drive off a bridge would you"
Damn that's a long post. TLDR: I've raided with some àssholes. Tell me stories about your raid experiences.

Andrew10000, on the Xbone (For those who don't play on the console, especially a good amount of PS4 players) it sometimes "mute" other players when you don't have a good connection, and I couldn't hear Andrew. But Andrew can hear me fine, and when we got to the Oracles, he started to insult. Why? I had no clue. But the people in the team were telling me what he was saying, at first I just shrugged it off thinking it will stop. But after the third time I decided to call him a Fagola, and he got pissed. Funny part is I couldn't hear his rage and the whole fireteam was telling him to "Calm down, you've been mugging Bosco this whole time and he can't hear you", but there was nothing stopping him. Afterwords when we finished, we both ended up apologizing and went our separate ways when the raid was over. I know I'll come across someone way worse in the future, but so far people tend to be friendly for the most part when I raid. Andrew if you're reading this, try to restrain from calling people out, you don't know if its the game that's messing the player over or if its simply lag. :)

1 返信Not so much being in a raid with an @ss, because I'd just say F it and leave. But being in a raid where wipes start making things tense, and two guys start arguing with each other to the point of borderline yelling and insults is a seriously awkward drag. It just makes me want to leave.

I feel bad for you man. Some people can be douchebags. Dont take it to heart though because you were probably better than him. One time 5 of us were doing a raid on ps4. I invited a guy named Wailaw. He helped us for a little bit but we couldnt get past the gatekeeper checkpoint. Then the guy proceeds to tell us that our weapons arent strong enough and that we arent good enough. Then he goes in the mars portal, grabs the relic, and falls off the edge. He was a hypocrite. Then he left the fireteam and we had to call it quits. But normally i raid with the same team and we get along great.

I had 2 new guys with me and ran with a team of 3 guys that had finished the raid 1-3 times. Needless to say they were all complete assholes and they were terrible. They yelled at my friends constantly and when i offeres to do a portal solo they said no they have their own way. It took almost 2 hours on normal. Some people forget that weve all been in the wtf am i doing boat. Every other team ive run it with has been great .

To set the scene, my last raid attempt, on hard, we got to the gorgons, two guys had to leave and the remaining four couldn't quite remember the route (we were all fairly inexperienced, and for two of us it was the first hard attempt). Anyway, we finally got a guy in who knew the way, so followed him. Then I threw a knife at him and missed, which drew the attention of a gorgon. He had a bit of a sweary time as we wiped but it's ok cos I blamed the other hunter. Later a guy was having trouble on the platforms. I helped him with my sniper rifle. Then we got to the gatekeepers bit, but after five minutes I had to go. (Disclaimer: all involved are friends so it's fine, just thought it'd make a good story. I don't behave like that with randoms. Unless they deserve it)

4 通の返信There was this kid, Grizzly vermin I believe was his name on 360 lvl 25 with Atheon checkpoint and he was always yelling that he gets the relic bit right when he did he would get sniped and start cussing like a bloody idiot until we eventually kicked him because my level 30 friend wanted to join

Yep: myself. But I've now taken to taking the blame for wipes that weren't even remotely my fault to keep spirits high. It's easier to joke and enjoy yourself than get butt-hurt over wipes and mistakes. I generally only raid with clanmates, though, so it never gets too bad, even if we have some whiners. And we all -blam!- with each other throughout, so it's pretty fun as a baseline. For example, I really wanted to run relic during templar last night but I kept dying because the detain sphere wouldn't break when I'd charge it, leaving me outside the field. That equals dead. After three attempts, one of my buddies decided to take over, but failed twice, so I announced I'd be running for the relic the second we spawned. He was a Hunter, and I was a Warlock, so he won. Then he failed to kill L3 Oracle, so wipe. Next run, I spawned in front of everyone and slid off the platform, and sprinted to the relic, sliding into it to hold it. We all laughed, and then we beat the Templar, which led to me -blam!-ing with him about who was holding the relic when we actually succeeded. All in good fun.

4 通の返信his name was AoD Lockwood or something like that. we had a group of about four friends iirc and had pulled him and one other random in from the tower, one of my friends hadn't yet completed the raid and he's still kinda new to it so to us, we were just helping him out, it wasn't super serious or anything -- especially because some of us couldn't hear each other. anyway, this guy was just a jerk about it all, he got super salty during the oracle/templar fight and started barking orders when we kept wiping due to inexperience/not being able to hear callouts for whatever reason. when it was time for the relic and we all were asking each other whether we were doing it legit or cheesing, he immediately started talking shit about people who would cheese instead of going legit (hey, i get it, but some of us are on time constraints, guy, and the rest can't hear one another). we tried to do it his way because he was so against cheesing but of course that failed, and then at one point he decided he wanted to call me a name because i had mistaken him for another one of us (that tiny text is hard to read when you're busy killing oracles). after we'd wiped enough times he finally agreed to cheese the damn thing so we could just get through it. what really got me, though, was when my friend got stuck while jumping down into the gorgon's maze. it's dark, the holes are easy to miss when you're disoriented, but he kept complaining and had the nerve to wonder aloud why my friend (the reason we were doing the raid in the first place) had not been kicked yet. finally he rejoined us, but i was pretty much done at that point. shortly after that happened, we all finally gave it up, i had to go to work soon afterward anyway. i'd never had a problem playing with randoms before that guy. if you don't want to do a raid with some random group, for pete's sake just decline the invitation. we'll be just fine finding someone else, i promise.

Thankfully when it happened to me i was the party lead an not this guy. He was the type who wouldn't listen to anyone because he "knew what he was doing" but constantly died an blamed others for it. After a few whipes mainly due to him i had called him out and asked him to either listen or leave. He refused to do either of course and i hate kicking people but love screwing with them. I proceeded to switch to my striker class and kept shoulder charging him off the edge till he left.

2 通の返信No because as soon as they show their assholery we find someone else. Honestly, every single person on my friends list (with the exception of my bf) were people i randomly met through PUGs and Help Wanted ads. If they were cool and fun they were invited to play on a daily basis because games are supposed to be fun. Some days we spend hours goofing around in the VoG and other days we breeze right through it, each time having a blast. I don't have time for assholes.

6 通の返信I've been called "The angriest canadian I've ever met" by a group once. We all stayed friends after and raided together after that too. I think they realized that organization gets results. I wasn't mean to anyone but I do call people out and ask them what went wrong so we could coach them to a different action. Some people don't like being singled out though.

That sucks man, that dude is such an asshole! Personally I've never been on the receiving end of an assholes rage but I've heard many in a few fireteams. The asshikes are usually the shitty ones barking out orders and blaming everyone else for their mistakes.

1 返信I got an invite from a friend, and I joined up. They needed some help with Atheon on normal (I believe) so I had no problem lending a hand. This was around my 20th raid. We're going through, but we have a couple of wipes inside the portal. No big deal, we start again, portal's doing great. Outside is getting heated, though. I'm up above Mars portal and we have people inside Venus, and this one guy starts shouting, "Player, you [i]need[/i] to be around Venus with us." "No, I'm staying over here to split up the Supplicants and take them out here. If you need me to shoot across just let me know." "You're wasting time over there. It's stupid." Stupid? When we [i]do[/i] get Time's Vengeance, there's always a ton of Supplicants over here that no one takes care of. We're Warlocks and a Titan, so I'm placing myself on Supplicant duty. What happens when we hit Mars and I'm still outside with him? He shuffles over, even though there's two of us holding it down just fine. "Can you rotate back to Venus? We're good here and this is how we get overrun." Of course he says no, complains that I don't know what I'm doing. I tell him I've raided about 20 times at this point and this is a very quick way to put down the Sups instead of dealing with them during T'sV (which no one else is doing). "Ha, well I've raided more than you!" We wipe that round. This is the point that someone needs synth, so we go to the Tower. I open the app, check his Grimoire, and see 4 completions. Chuckle to myself quietly. Go back in, and he and I end up getting 'ported with someone else. I grab the relic, take out the Hobbies, wait at the middle of the stairs to cleanse. "You need to move forward, *whateverhisnamewas*". Eventually he does, and I wait next to the portal for the last cleanse. He's at the bottom of the stairs and the second-to-last Oracle is spawning. I tell him he needs to stick with the other guy and move continuously inside, and he freaks out. "The relic holder needs to follow the people, not the other way around!!" And I tell him, no, the relic holder needs to be out before anyone else. After wiping shortly after, I just say that my clan leader needs me for a raid and I can't say no, and I leave.

uhhhhhhh hmmmmm I would NOT work with or Raid with assholes. Why bother...? I'd leave after 10 seconds or less. You stayed and now you have a lot of abuse here to discuss. They all sound like winners. I did one Raid and it was with military veterans. No one was an ass and we enjoyed ourselves. The end.

2 通の返信Sounds like you were causing a problem here. If you're with a new group they may have different tactics that you should adapt to. It's their fault for not explaining it to you but once they tell you the plan stick to it. If you're not wanted in the portal stay out.

4 通の返信I can hold center alone as a 29 on hard. It is idiotic to not bring the relic in with you to second portal if you are doing 1 at a time. You will need a cleanse to get out of the portal. When people start complaining and placing blame because they mess up I usually leave.

The first time I began raiding I listened like a human being should do I was a pvp player so I had mastered blade dancer everyone said it was useless go gunslinger. Now I'm an experienced raider and I was just running through normal with my friends and he was in the fire team ... I've never seen him. This guy was also a hunter and as a fellow hunter I saw him go blade dancer so I said "hey are you going blade dancer switch to gunslinger it's blade dancer is pointless for the raid" I was expecting an answer like "why? Or ok man" I get back "no I'll stay with blade dancer" wtf. So then I say "dude it's no help for the team just switch" He says back "well blade dancer is my thing and that's what I do" I unplugged my mic and started cursing.
