Will VoG die out quickly after next week?
Since new raid will have higher armor and weapons right, does the VoG become pointless unless you still badly want an unobtained weapon for whatever reason? Or is there upgrades to VoG rewards beyond current limit? Or what? If not it makes me curious why both keep fixing VoG like what they did this week, when its gonna be dead soon....

I'm sure it will. Why even do it? Plus by the time people come back to it they will be overleveled and walk through it. The one reason people may return is for elemental primaries since Bungie is keeping them on lockdown until the hard raid comes out in January.

3 通の返信Yep. VoG weapons will have a lower attack rating than what you can grind out just by doing tiger strikes for marks, and VoG armor will have the same light rating as what you can buy.

I don't think it will because you will still be able to get exotics and the raid gear will help those who don't have a complete set (since it will be better then having old legendaries). Plus I also feel that when people see what a small difference there is between 300 damage and 320 damage, the raid weapons (especially the primary ones) will still be in high demand . I think what you will see is more people doing the hard raid and less people doing the normal, as the average level comes over 30.

3 通の返信Doubt it will die out anytime soon as people will play it (even level 30s) simply for the weapon drops. Not everyone has a Vex, Hawkmoon, Gjallahorn, etc. I will likely try to run it once or twice each week on hard just for the weapons or to help friends get to level 30 if they are not comfortable doing the new Raid

Xmas noobs dude! All those who waited to get it basically get one hell of an experience available from the get go to them....think about it....there's also ppl like me who can't get gear to drop, who want the grimoire cards and score, those looking for hidden chests, ppl collecting all the raid weapons and gear, ppl who have yet to make alts, etc. There will be plenty of ppl and reasons to do it. I'm assuming it will just add to the new stuff to do each weem

Speaking if this alternate set of VoG armor.......gotta be what's gonna boost us to 31 or 32 (maybe the people who haven't bought the DLC will get 32??) unless VOG gets moved up to 32 or so and these are the rewards. Sorry if this link was posted but I didn't scroll through the entire post to check.

I doubt it. As fun as VoG is, I can surely see hardcore raiders doing both raids each week, probably on all their characters if they have the time. Hell, I know I'll be running VoG still, if only for ascendant materials.
