The Shadow Price is just as good as the Suros Regime
I know what you might be thinking when you see the title. Your probably thinking this is just me trying to defend the Suros Regime but you would be wrong. The matter of the fact is that the shadow price is better than the Suros Regime by far and here's why. First is the stability which you might think is worse on the Shadow price right well it is but only slightly so and you cant really see the difference.
My second point is the fact that both get hammer forged but the shadow price doesn't get a slower fire rate when aimed down sight which gives the more skilled player the win. This also mean's that all the people complaining about the Suros and it's range should complain about the Shadow Price right? Wrong because the Suros is an "EXOTIC" and it's "BROKEN" and "OUT OF ITS WEAPON ROLE" so it's clearly the more "BROKEN" thing right?
The shadow price is also easier to obtain as well... how many ways you can work towards the Shadow Price. The answer is alot more than the Suros and if it hasn't been on sale three times their would be no complaints about the weapon. So to everyone who hate's on the Suros should hate on the Shadow price just as much because it's stats add up to almost the same but you don't because it's not an "EXOTIC" weapon so it's clearly much better.
I would say more but I'm fed up with all the people saying the Suros Regime should get nerfed but say nothing about the Shadow Price at all when their the same gun minus the Suros Regime perk. Say what you want but you know what i'm saying is the truth and if you come here with a half baked comment that only makes me more right because you cant back up your argument.

There are a ton of Suros comparison videos out there where they show the strength before & after the slowed fire upgrade. Check 'em out. It beats Shadow Price for range, stability, impact and perks (against the Vendor version) Shadow Price is good, but Suros is the best Auto Rifle in the game even with the nerfs. The sound it makes is now absolutely horrible though

1 返信I got a Vanquisher with glass half full , armor piercing rounds, and spray and play. 22 round mag , 11 of those do more damage AND I reload super fast. This guns synergy is amazing and a bit OP. I think you need to take into account the random perks these weapons get when dropped from engrams , end of mission rewards , ect ect.

6 通の返信Sorry but if any class of guns need nerfing it would be the one shot kill hand cannons. I have meet my end too many times to them and some of them are just as bad as having full time golden gun. Not saying the suros isn't a bit overpowered but I seen an unupgraded brand new suros do better in PvP than a full on one. Hand cannons thought are just too powerful in general.

3 通の返信Yeah. They're both auto rifles and overpowered. Auto rifles as a whole are overpowered. How many times have you gotten the handcannon headshot spree bounty done? Probably not many or any at all, because trying to land only headshots with a handcannon leads to a 4 shot death by a Suros Regime (which is essentially a primary machine gun) because it destroys your stability and your reticle is flying all over the place.

2 通の返信I have never used Suros nor the Price in Crucible. Suros hits harder in PvE, as an exotic should. Please do not nerf Suros, I like it just how it is in PvE. I think many will agree with me that there are many alternatives to it in Crucible.

Have to agree here. What gets me is when they said something to the effect of..."We want to make all exotics worth the price of ownership" How, by "bringing them in-line with other Legendaries"? WTF???!!! I also love how they said they were going to buff all exotics, even including Suros in that pic of the weapons to get buffed, just to pull a switcharoo at the last minute. I guess all these people bleeding all over the forums changed their minds. lol.

Well, the game may give you lots of Vanquisher VIII, Shadow Price or Grim Citizen III with pretty different skills, but if you want to buy it from the Tower, the best choice by far because of its default perks is the Vanquisher VIII.

4 通の返信I prefer Grim Citizen lll over any other auto rifle. From personal experience I feel like overall it's better, personal preference I suppose.

Yup I have both and prefer shadow price over suros due to stability and fire rate, although I use Voc and Atheons AR now, before I had those I had suros before shadow and stuck with the shadow price to put my plan c as my secondary ;)

8 通の返信Yea but the suros gets a damage buff, twice, and can also Regen health. 2/3 gun fights I get into where I catch a enemy out, get them down to one shot and they turn around, shoot me once and turn the 1shot for the kill into 2 then 3 shots. Then I'm dead from after they shoot me three times. So let's recap my gun goes from a 4 shot kill to a 5, then a six, and even a seven shot kill vs. They're suros that goes from a 4 shot kill to 3 shot kill. That's why I think the suros needs a Nerf.

I'd been saying this for a while. The "Galahad" series rifles are just better in many respects 5th an the suros. The Glass half full regeneration thing is not always but a chance as far as I can see. You're totally correct, Suros Regime is reviled because of the way it was sold to the masses and it became the flagship "thing that kills me ~ broken" but truthfully it isn't significantly better than most other playable weapons. Sad, how ignorant people are about the diversity of weapons selection I'm this game.

2 通の返信No, but it doesn't take up an exotic spot, so it 's better in that regard. Overall the Shadow Price is more like the Hard Light. Suros is more like the Vision of Confluence Scout Rifle, if you are aiming.
