For everybody below saying that they don't see a difference in difficulty since the patch, you are dead wrong. Void burn on, but void weapons don't even dent a shield? What's the point of having a burn at all? It should not take 3 rounds from a maxed out Truth to take down a yellow health knight with an arc shield.
And seriously, what is the point of void burn anyway? Not a single baddie in this nightfall has a void shield, which pretty much negates any burn benefit for the player, but makes it so a red health acolyte can burn you down in 2 bursts. How does that work.
In closing, I would like to point out that nightfall isn't worth the grind anymore. U get better, guaranteed rewards from the 28 Heroic
Void weapons do more damage after the shield is down. That is the point. It sucks that there aren't any void shielded enemies in this strike to make it easier, but you can use for example VoC to take wizard shields down quickly then use a void secondary to finish it off quickly. Or a sun damage secondary with void primary... You don't have to run with all void weapons to get the job done the fastest.
