Both are on equal ground. 30 to me just means you're less of a liability. Doesn't mean you're skilled. Just means if your not, I don't have to worry about having a floater to help cover your side of the raid. If you're 30 and skilled, then swanky. I hit the random jackpot. If not, at least you can soak hits. 30 is 30. Hell I had full raid and was half thinking about picking up a piece or two of IB gear just because of the perks. Anyhow, it will all be pointless when we start fighting over 32 here in a few weeks.

The only thing i've heard is that exotics will scale with upgrades. I have yet to read anything about legendary items. Either way, Bungie is just putting us back to the grind. That is the only constant.
