PROOF of Fake 30's
At first I didn't really care about the whole REAL and FAKE 30's discussion until I played the raid today with a FAKE 30. He had 2 pieces of Raid gear and exotic helmet and IRON BANNER Guantlets. Everybody in the fire team seemed to know what they was doing until we got to the Confuxes he didn't even know you couldn't be revived! So I asked have you done the raid on hard? His answer was no when they said you could get to level 30 from iron banner gear I just felt no need to do the hard raid. We did finally finish but we had to carry him through.
I don't believe every 30 that had to do Iron Banner to get there is fake or bad but I finally see why people call them fake.
What are your opinions on the FAKE and REAL 30's?

2 通の返信There is no fake 30 there is simply a raid 30 and normal 30. You can get to 30 and never set foot in hard raid

2 通の返信I'm not a very experienced raider but I've played with 30's that have full raid gear and they didn't even know how to use the relic. You're always going to have people like that...it's not just people who got gear from iron banner. And who cares if they don't have experience? There was a time when you didn't have experience either and them having a higher rank only means they won't die as much.

In reality both the IB and hard raid are similar in the fact that you have to work in a group of 6 to win. Single player expert= lvl 30 raid gear. Multiplayer expert= lvl 30 IB gear. You might think his a joke in the raid but im sure he will think the same of you in the crucible.

1 返信Dude I've met plenty of 30's that needed to be carried pre iron banner. No such thing as real or fake 30's just good and bad just like every other level. I played last week with TWO 30's that couldn't clear portals with relic. I'm 29 and I can handle it on my own. Skill is the only differentiator. Not level.

2 通の返信There is no fake 30s and real 30s, there are idiots that never done hard raid and didn't bother to do DD and then there are idiots that think everyone with IB gear is FAKE. LMAO, I sincerely think US peeps are some of the dumbest in the world and I don't blame the middle east for wanting to kill us all.

2 通の返信Dumbest discussion in Destiny yet. Not everybody has the same luck in lootdrops. You got players that got raid armor sets in one or two runs and are really bad. And the iron banner armor is also earned because you spend time in it and played it.

1 返信Hmmm... "Proof" I purpose you retest your hypothesis across a larger sample group and then return to the forums with your findings then. Perhaps try to apply the scentific method to your experiment before judging millions of people based on just one case study. You get an A for effort though.

2 通の返信You can get to light level 30 without doing hard just with three raid pieces.. Stop stereotyping that everyone with iron banner gear don't know the fights.

4 通の返信You know what's funny, I did a raid with a full team of fully equipped raiders, no IB. You what? They absolutely sucked at the game like holy damn. Meanwhile I the lvl30 due to IB was carrying them to victory (also having to hold relic because they don't know how to deal with minotaur.) Albiet I raided so many times I just didn't have luck on my side.

2 通の返信proof? Fake 30s? wtf is this? Does their light number indicate 120? and their level 30? If so... then they're undoubtedly, positively, real 30s.... wtf is this crap with fake 30s? What's next, we'll be calling out fake players because they aren't great in crucible?

2 通の返信Raid veteran and Iron Banner rank 5. love having both. Almost got my 2nd char to 20 now! Goona give that character my extra armour I bought/recieved from the IB/Raid.

I always ask what everyones experience is before we hit the ground. If there is an inexperienced person, educate them (I prefer) or replace them. It doesn't matter what gear they have. The last group I ran with one of the 30's had no relic experience and little hard raid experience, so I told him how it works and helped him through. Now I have someone else that can help on hard raids.

You can't get to 30 without one raid gear piece so you still have to run the raid making you at least a little experienced in it 3. Some of the most skilled players in this game that I have seen are the guys owning crucible and iron banner. So please stop with the fake 30 argument. I'm sure those guys who killed it to rank 5 in IB can more than hold their own in VoG

2 通の返信Why didn't you ask his experience with raid. Level has nothing to do with skill or experience. Sounds like you made an assumption. What happens when we assume?

if he had never done the hard raid, which is reasonable considering he only had the raid chest and legs, why is it so shocking that he didn't know the subtly of it? I mean... had he had the helmet? Ok. But cut the guy some slack. We were all raid n00bs once.

2 通の返信There are plenty of people with level 30 characters that haven't done the raid on hard. You get all the pieces but the helmet in normal and you can just wear an exotic helm.
