Should IB 30's be reduced to level 29?
Ive noticed that a lot of raid level 30's are complaining about Bungie allowing players to reach level 30 by playing IB. I can understand their frustration when it comes to this matter, because I had to play a lot of raids to reach level 30 as well. With this said I also understand why others would embrace this chance. You complete the raid several times, and you are never able to get the last piece of armour you need to reach 30. So IB armour is a blessing. Personally I think they should be able to be level 30. If not for the fact that I just dont really care that much, but for the fact that we need more level 30's for the next raid! We need the damage output to have stronger teams. Then, if you still feel annoyed, you can become level 32 to make yourself feel better.

Personally i have 3 sets of raid gear i just got iron banner gear so i could have auto rifle reload speed increased i personally think if they made it through the amount of shotguns fusion rifle and auto rifles in ib they have every right to be 30

3 通の返信So once again we are here because Bungie stepped in the bucket. It is ridiculous that they set such a low level cap for a game that is supposedly to last 10 years. Seriously did everyone think that 30 was going to be it. They compounded their error by having no matchmaking leaving anyone with something other to do besides spending hours and hours in front of their tv without even the option to attempt the Raid. They went even further in making the Raid the only avenue open for progression beyond 29 with the exception of the IB. Which was a limited time event which brings us back to only being a viable option if you have nothing but time to play a video game. If options had been put in place to offer other avenues to progress your character other than what is currently being offered we would not be having this discussion or put up with stupid post from "true 30's", "level 30 master race" ect ect Let's remember we are all playing the same game,dealing with the same crap RNG. Yes the Raid is hard and doing it as many times as it takes to get to 30 does take a lot of work. Let's also remember that getting to 29 is a grind and competing in the IB for as long as it took to get those few pieces to get you to 30 was equally hard. You are NOT special. You are NOT unique and you do not possess some awesome skill set that sets you apart from anyone else. This is a GAME and all level 30 signifies is that you have more TIME to kill than the other guy.

1 返信I got all raid gear within 3 raids on my hunter My titan, the character i've been playing since beta, and launch, the character i prefer to play, still doesnt have raid boots. I worked for my IB boots, anyone who says otherwise is a noob idiot that I wouldn't want to raid with anyways.

1 返信To all the "special snowflakes" get over yourselves. It's a video game. Trivial nonsense about players came to become level 30 shouldn't be an issue. Everyone paid money for the game. So what difference should it make how they got there. Plus, weren't people complaining about all the level 30 gear made everyone look the same? Well..... Now there are options for reaching the weak level cap. Just enjoy your hamster wheel and have a great day :)

I made 30 thanks to IB gloves, though last night I dropped Raid gloves and helmet. It may be sacreligious to RNGesus but I prefer the attributes on the IB gear so don't use my raid boots anymore either.

Ist ok that pvp Players can reach level 30. But they have to earn at least One Piece of Raid gear. Me, as an pve player, hate it when im forced to play pvp for the exotic bountys for example. And i think, some pvp feel the Same, when they are forced to play pve. Its Fine for me

People crying about IB gear giving level 30 need to shut the hell up! Get the hell off your high horse, You ain't special. I have 3 30s full Raid gear( with extra sets) and I don't care if people hit level 30 outside of the raid, Makes my life easier. I give props to people who got IB gear. I didn't do IB the first time it came around (no level 30 gear then), Then last week I thought I would do it to buy some gear (don't want to look like all the other 30s) took me what seemed like forever to get rank 2 1/2....... The hell with that.

Anyways I think the IB gear, boots and gauntlets, get you to level 30 bc they are the rarest armor drops (at least in my experience). Just dont listen to all the toxic elitist bullshit spewing from the butthurt assholes that play this game. -blam!- em

Thank RNGesus for giving me only a raid chest piece :D i just grinded in IB for the rest lol. How awesome is that! Im 30 now and able to do hard raid :) and ofcurse clan members wont really say nothin to you since their clan members :D

Whoever thinks that ib gear should be worth less is just a terrible person.. I was fortunate enough to get 3 raid gears to go with my exotic helm in just 3 raid attempts.. That took me a total of 5 hours roughly.. To get both of my characters to lvl 4 ib took me roughly 16 hours each.. And that doesn't even get me lvl 30 on either of them without the raid so I'll have to go there anyway and pray for the helm or armor to have a shot at 30. So by those numbers I could do the raid about 10 times in the time I spent in the iron banner and would only need to come out with 2 raid pieces to be just as fruitful (as far as raid gear/ib gear standards are concerned) and that doesn't include the metric shit ton of ascendants I'd be getting while raiding.

To answer your question, there is absolutely no valid reason that people who achieved rank 30 via the iron banner have worked less hard than those who did the raid. In fact in order to get 30 with their gear proves they are multidimensional, achieving success in both PvP and PvE endgame arenas. They proved they are adaptable in taking on both toughened AI enemies, and those that can think and adapt. Either by braving the previous iron banner (which was a compete mess) or putting in the hours and victories required to rank up enough in the new iron banner demonstrates their dedication, that some feel is only demonstrated by those that can do the raid. There's no good real argument that can be made that people who achieved in the iron banner are any less deserving than those who have taken on the raid.

Who gives a shit how you get to level 30 lol. I have multiple full raid sets, iron banner gear, and exotics. I use all 3 types of armor. (Tbh I think the IB armor is more aesthetically pleasing) Lvl 30 is lvl 30 regardless of the armor used to get it. People need to grow up and get over the fact that in a game that was sold globally to MILLIONS of people that they can't be individually unique. #stahpcrying

We askd Bungie to make it so more people can reach level because the raid loot drips were screwing us. Guess what? They listened to us and they did. Does it matter they have a little less defense? A 29 can get stomped easier than them(I'm still 29 btw). And if people are upset a few people don't know how the raid works still, get over it. You had learn, I had to learn, everyone has to learn. Jump down off you high stool and be polite and help a few people out. Play for an hour or two, teach them a couple things, then leave and continue from the checkpoint if that suits you. Or be cool, realize it's a game and show em' how the whole raid works... Besides, all this level 30 crap will be over in a couple weeks and people will start whining about real level 32's. It's just a game, just have fun.

How is doing the raid earning anything... Most people just use glitches and hope for raid gear. (I've done this, but I also have done it a bunch of times on hard legit)In iron banner people just no life it for days to get gear, doesn't require a ton of effort either... Meaning they are both pretty easy. The only difference is ur not trying ur luck with iron banner. I mean I've done the raid 33 time (6 times on normal) and I have never gotten preydths timepeace soo yeah.
