I swear if next week isn't solar burn...
I'll be pretty upset. We havnt had solar burn on who knows how long. Seems like arcs been too often.
EDIT: Wow nearly 500 comments. Never thought i'd get this much, maybe solar will be next week with nexus!

8 通の返信Arc burn is the best burn anyways, arc supremacy (with armor piercing rounds), fatebringer, plan c, and thunderlord. Solar burn only has gjallarhorn over arc.

1 返信Can we all just take into account the fact that any solar burn strike would be a joke, several of the best guns in the game are solar. We've got Vision of Confluence, Vex Mythoclast, Ice Breaker, Praetorian's Foil, Gjallarhorn, Hezen Vengeance and more if you've been lucky. If you want a taster of how OP Gjallarhorn would be against any final boss just try out truth on Phogoth this week, takes off about 5-10% of his health from 1 rocket and doesn't do anywhere near as much damage as Gjallarhorn.

13 通の返信Solar burn wouldn't make sense for phogoth. Almost positive no enemy does solar out of hive.

7 通の返信Bungie doesn't want to do solar because a lot of the most powerful weapons have solar damage. E.g. vision of confluence, Ice breaker, jelly horn. Honestly though I hate go upping against wizards with solar burn.

5 通の返信Do not be surprised if you never see Solar Burn again in a nightfall, reason is that you could just run VOC, Icebreaker, Gjallerhorn and it would be like running a lvl 24 strike.

I have a good set of Arc (Maxed out Epitaph and thunderlord) and void (maxed Atheons epilogue, preydyths revenge, truth & the swarm) However, I have amazing solar weapons: Vision of Confluence Vex Mythoclast Ice Breaker Gjallarhorn The Supremacy Pocket infinity Zombie Apocalypse I am really itching to see these weapons with the solar burn mod. It has been at least 7 weeks since the last time we had solar burn I think...
