Crota is a dragon
First thing i want to say, i personally don't know where to put this thread.
So here's my theory,
On Venus there's dragons, there's a gun talking about dragons existing in its description, and one of the new guns in "The Dark Below" is called Dragon's Breath. When doing one of the story missions on the Moon, you hear a loud roar (not talking about the strike). This roar could very well be a dragon's roar.
Any thoughts on this?
Edit: So many of you are saying Crota is a knight, well he actually has THREE forms, a knight, a dragon (probably) and something else.
Edit 2: Thanks to Spaztic12 "Plus, remember before the game was released, bungie released a photo of a dragon in front of the moon", Thanks for that. Crota is a god, he has THREE forms( a Knight, a Dragon, and possibly a Ogre I guess). Crota wields the sword in his knight form, either you guys can kill yourselves when you find out I'm right, or you guys can agree with me, its kinda obvious. Just accept the fact that Bungie got "Creative".
Edit 3: Wow over 70 replies! The mission i hear the roar in is the Shrine of Oryx.

4 通の返信Umm have you seen the video for dark below??? Crota is a really big knight. And that roar during the story mission is phogoth. The gun is called dragon's breath because it is a solar damage weapon and bungie can't be creative. If you are talking about a different mission then please explain. You did not elaborate enough.

6 通の返信There is a trailer for The Dark Below. It shows us Crota. He is a normal sized knight. It explains why they refer to him as a knight in the grimoire, and why the Sword of Crota is small. Because Crota is Guardian sized.

Oh and he knows Dragon Shouts. FUS RO DAAAAYUM.

1 返信Crota can't be a dragon, a dragon isn't a larger and renamed common enemy. They would have to create a whole new enemy for that.

People keep saying he's a glorified Knight, blah blah, not orginal but no one knows anything for sure. There are things about the Vault of Glass that we still don't know about today but people assume that watching a 30 second prologue shows them everything the new raid has to offer.
